RAW MEATLESS RECIPE | How to Make CIG KOFTE With Bulgur Balls
Welcome to my kitchen! In this video, I'll show you how to make Cig Kofte, a traditional Turkish dish made with bulgur, spices, and fresh herbs. This delicious and healthy recipe is entirely meatless and packed with flavor. Perfect as an appetizer or a main dish, Cig Kofte is a staple in Turkish cuisine that's sure to impress your family and friends.
Ingredients:
Fine bulgur
Onion
Garlic
Tomato paste
Red pepper paste
Olive oil
Lemon juice
Pomegranate molasses
Fresh parsley
Green onions
Mint
Spices (paprika, cumin, black pepper, red pepper flakes)
Salt
Ice water
Instructions:
In a large bowl, soak the bulgur in ice water until softened.
Finely chop the onion and garlic, then mix them into the bulgur.
Add the tomato paste, red pepper paste, olive oil, lemon juice, and pomegranate molasses. Mix thoroughly.
Finely chop the parsley, green onions, and mint, then add them to the mixture.
Season with paprika, cumin, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
Shape the mixture into small balls or patties.
Serve with lettuce leaves, lemon wedges, and fresh herbs.
Tips:
For a spicier version, increase the amount of red pepper flakes.
Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for a few hours to let the flavors meld.
