      The 10CAD a day plan is still in the process of implementation, what’s available at the moment is a 50% subsidized rate. To key into that you just need to register your child in a Center that is a part of the CWELCC program

      I had my baby over 2.5years ago and so far no bill whatsoever. I also have a MyChart account where I saw the bill going down till it was completely waived. I have been in Canada for almost 2 years and I am owing zero dollars for childcare(confirmed by the hospital).

      @Simplementchristelle Před 8 měsíci

      Okay. No problem and good for you if that's what happened. My only issue is that it's misleading as people will hope the same happens for them when it is the first time I hear this. I have received hospital bills for family members I invited to visit me months after they left. Sometimes the process is slow but the bills always come. This is a special case not a general. My mom was here during covid and I paid all her hospital bills at that time. Hospital 🏥 can be very expensive in Canada 🇨🇦 just don't want people to fall into a trap. Sorry if I offended you.

      @@Detomi_a Thank you for your answer. In fact, I heard from your video it was due to covid-19. Actually, my curiosity is finding out in what way covid-19 impacted the government decision making on wavering the bill. I speak in terms of provincial or national policy influenced by covid-19.

    • @Detomi_a
      @Detomi_a Před 8 měsíci

      I might be wrong but I think it was an Ontario policy cause I know someone who gave birth around the same time as I did in Calgary whose fees were not waived. To think HND is evaluated higher than a BSC with WES gives me joy, cause the ND and HND were evaluated as individual certificates, I got 2 years diploma, 3 years diploma and a PGD (as an equivalent to Canada education credentials) with my HND. Which gives a HND higher points, than a BSC holder. All the best to my fellow HND holder.

      Hi 1. You would need you medical report from Nigeria 2. Some hospitals require you to pay a deposit upfront 3. The hospital shouldn’t ask for your accommodation status. 4. Estimate varies depending on how the delivery goes but it ranges from 15,000CAD and above. Usually way more than that.
