Sword lance, remembrance weapon from Gaius. Incredible pve pokey stick. Moveset is lacklustre but the AR is bonkers and it's infusable.

Hey, if slow stamina regen's the issue, the most likely reasons I can think are: 1. You're over 70% equip load 2. You're not lowering your shield often enough between guards to let stamina regenerate - the little bits of regen really add up

Try without summons and cheese and it’s so rewarding when you finally beat her

I did kill her without summons. If this is considered a cheese build then I cheesed her.

I'm not really up on Elden PvP meta, but wouldn't use dual Gargoyle Winblades for it. They do the best deeps on a big slow stationary target, but whiff easy and chew through stamina quick. Strength/arcane spec is a monster, I'd go for another weapon that fits the spec like Mohgwyn's Spear (possible bias for my favourite weapon in the game there). Also, Beastman Curved swords do a little less damage than the twinblades but are much more consistent/better weapons imo.

50 endurance, 99 strength, 60 vigor You definitely want 50 endurance for the stamina bar + equip load. Strength and vigor don't need to be quite so high, but this is NG+ so we can go big

@@BastardMan Thanks, I have precisely 60 vig and 50 endurance on my current build, but sr is sitting at 44 due to me trying to constrain it to lvl 150. I'l give it a go anyway, worried about only doing chip damage tough.

Agreed. She is, imo, especially fun to solo two handing a colossal sword. Probably the Malenia kill I enjoyed the most was on a Guts cosplay.

yeah maybe, i really wanted to beat her properly as well since i played the whole game without summons for my first playthough but with her i was stuck for a week, even using bhs is tough. for some reason my system just has so much input lag and with colossal weapons which was my main it was too much. for dex users or any other types it might be fine but at this point im at my wits end.

@@kkdias9924 Well if you have so much input lag then Malenia may literally not be beatable without more cheesy methods. Stuff like waterfowl dance requires you to react within a split second if she starts it while you're standing next to her to perform the necessary movement to make her miss the first flurry at melee range. That would be impossible with almost any input lag, meaning that the waterfowl at close range would become undodgable with input lag. I recommend you just beat her with summons, ice pots and such and try and get the "pure" experience once you have a better system. But hey, good on you to beat everything before her without summons and with input lag, which would be the worst on colossal weapons, that means you must be good at least mate :D

@@natasrules true, I somehow survived the parkour, had to do it twice too as those frenzied merchants are no joke either lol

@@hazelthemcwitchit's scripted. it prevents you from receiving fall damage because you initally "break" a fragile floor and end up in the proscription church

I really want to see definite stats on this. I tested with the ballistas outside Windmill Village, and I could see a small difference with the talisman equipped. So I think it's worth it for negating high stamina damage attacks like her kicks, but you could viably swap it for something else.

I guess the buckler parries don't count as a 'hit' for her... it's a bit silly she heals through guard, but it adds a fun dynamic balancing stamina management with poise breaking!

'No skill', so it's using Serpent Hunter's ash of war (though it's not much use for Malenia from my experience)

Honestly Shield Crash would have been better to use.
