Poland has some of the most beautiful cities. Its been said that if Warsaw didn't get bombarded in WWII it would be the most beautiful city in the world today.

@alanheath London, Moscow, they are the main cities for their agglomerations. Katowice isn't a main city for the conurbation it belongs to.

The same as the Ruhr conurbation, Moscow conurbation, Tyneside conurbation, Los Angeles conurbation or London conurbation is perfectly understandable.

@alanheath generally yes, i know. However you have called the conurbation with the name of one of many cities and it is contrary. Conurbation means the equality of its cities. The name "Katowice" means the one city is main.

Than you say Katowice is Poland's biggest city, than you say its a conurbation. I say its not, its a city in the conurbation yet you still are attached to Katowice being the name of the conurbation. Your responses are awfully confusing.

@alanheath well your still wrong. the biggest conurbation in Poland is the Górnośląski Związek Metropolitalny (the katowice area) but the population is around 2mil (give or take). yet the Warsaw Metro area is a 2.6mil, if you believe in numbers that is.

@davidradz Because the Katowice conurbation is by far the largest build up area in the country - you can look at a map, if you believe maps that is.

@davidradz It depends on what you consider the borders to be. Katowice is the biggest city in Poland in fact, although theoretically it is in eighth position.

@flymicee Mówiąc o "przegranym na całe życie" miałem na myśli o pochodzeniu, z gorszego, biednego kraju. Kraj, który z góry jest skazany na gorszą opinię od jakiejś tam Francji. Jeśli się człowiek nie urodzi w bogatym i fajnym kraju, to z góry jest skazany na niedogodności, emigrując staje się niewolnikiem, na miejscu musi znosić grymasy innych. I tak się w tym wychowuje dając marne perspektywy. A z resztą chujowe jest życie, które opisujesz tutaj.

@flymicee Nie mogę się zgodzić z tym stwierdzeniem. Gdyby tak było, byłaby kicha, a nasze życie by nie miało sensu, bo bycie słabszym na tym kontynencie jest przegraną na całe życie, a to boli.

update...Krakow is 2nd populated city in Poland...generally it's considered 2nd city(after Warsaw) in the country.
