I joined the Air Force (Active Duty) to join the cyber field. The greatest decision I ever made. It was like a 6 year college, but I got paid to learn and I got to travel the world. I got my degree paid for while serving. Now I'm out and using GI bill to get my masters degree while working as a full time.penetration tester. I also got like 9 of my certifications paid for while serving. You just have to spend all your free time outside of duty hours working on building your skills and you can get a great job doing what you want after your contract is up.
