That was an epic 1v1!
The hardest summon battle so far due constant aoe magic and off screen attacks by this cheating bird.
I also soloed him as Red XIII, but only because Aerith and Cloud died. This was on just 1 level of weakness, all characters level 39. 😂
Full strength? 🤔🤔🤔 Funny cause I’m fighting him at full strength and he’s doing over 200-400 damage at times and I’m level 24

Red channeled his inner Sekiro parrying all those attacks.
Having a much harder time with Phoenix in the full game than I did in the demo (and it was already pretty hard there). Not sure if it's because I'm on Dynamic, or you have different materia available in the full game, or its stats/AI script is different, or all of the above.
So is rebirth flame on a timer. Also is this normal or dynamic. He always hits rebirth flame right after he comes out of the 1st stagger for me. Which is the one shot. I suppose I could equip everyone with revival earrings. Feels expensive

@@crowdz358 I saw in another video it’s based on hp (50%hp). Which makes sense. I was bowing my load on the 1st stagger. Which is why he nukes me right after. I’m gonna try to see if I can skip it by taking it easy on the first stagger and going ham on the second . Should also allow me to build up aeriths lb
Also Aeriths 2nd limit should negate all damage taken for a short amount of time. Myb cast it right be4 he does rebirth flame?

Just a guess, but he’s probably running Supplementary, Damage cap, Tyranny, and his class sigil. Plus some other QOL bonuses like Guts.
u need war elemental to deal all damage with enemies weak damage from u u need damage cap max If u use terminus weapon u need to make maxhp below 45k,
Prob i'm missing terminus as i only can hit max 90k per hit and around 400k for last hit Thanks anyway

I know it seems like a cop out answer but just like any character in this game, when played and built correctly, they can be OP
Heavily depends on the boss you're fighting. Some bosses just suck to fight with some characters and vice versa.
I think he's one of the better ones but not OP
hes definitely in the upper half. nowhere near OP though.. look at the damage dealt by characters such as eugen, ferry, charlotta, lancelot for example. eugen in particular can farm any boss with minimal effort, similar to monster hunter's heavy bowgun farming, only reason i don't touch that shit is because it's so disgustingly boring and easy.
Siegfriend and Percy are my absolute faves in this game, they carry my ass through these bosses. I play Katalina as support
