What does it mean to be a follower of Christ?
Paid in Full is a short film about a conversation between two men named Joseph and Evan which is set in the time leading up to the return of Christ. Joseph is a broken man with broken faith who has suffered great loss in a tragedy that has effected the entire world. Are we just gonna ignore that the weather guy said "38 degrees in the MIDDLE EAST" while pointing at Mid-West USA?
And the LORD shall wipe away all tears from our eyes. There shall be no more death neither sorrow nor crying neither shall there be any more pain for the former things are passed away in Jesus Mighty Name Amen. Revelation 21 verse 4
Beautiful ❤
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Hey, hello there.. I watched this movie and I feel like sharing it with my friends but I think it will be hard for them to understand because of the language barrier. We're Indonesian, btw. So, I wonder where I can get the subtitle to help us understand completely?
Hmmm, I'm glad I watched this. Let me preface this by saying that I'm not a Christian, but I have been studying Christianity. From a theological perspective, the parable of the brothers seems to be essentially accurate. The innocent brother took the rap for his guilty brother and was executed for it while the guilty brother walked free. In Christianity, Jesus died for the sins of humanity so that man may be reconciled with God and enter paradise. This is further reflected when the Preacher takes the bullet for the other man, cementing his piousness and selflessness in emulation of Christ. However, I find a substantial logical fault with the parable, the resolution of the film, and by extension, the message of Christianity: In Christianity, Jesus dies to save mankind, which is inherently guilty due to its sinful nature. Mankind is subject to divine punishment no matter how good they are, unless they accept that Jesus paid for their sins. In the parable, the older brother takes the punishment of the younger brother, much like Christ taking the punishment for mankind. The younger brother is clearly guilty of the heinous crime of murder. When the younger brother confesses, he is let off because the punishment has already been carried out. This does not make sense under a fair system of justice. Yes, somebody paid for the crime, but it was an innocent man paying for the crime of a guilty man. Without question, the older brother was altruistic, but his actions led to a guilty murderer walking free, even after the truth was revealed. I would characterize this as a fundamental miscarriage of justice. It was done for noble reasons, but achieved an unjust result. At the end of the film, the Preacher takes a bullet for the man. He dies for the man like Christ died for mankind. However, the man isn't particularly guilty of anything. He seems to be a normal guy who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Once again, the Preacher, like the brother, is undoubtedly altruistic and saves the man's life. Furthermore, the preacher's actions did not result in any failing of justice. The man was going to be killed for no reason other than being present. So you have 3 scenarios: In one, the brother is punished, resulting in a miscarriage of justice. In another, one innocent man saves another, otherwise generally innocent man. In the third, Christ dies to save mankind from damnation. From a real world perspective, we can determine that the parable resulted in an unjust result. A murderer walks and an innocent man dies in his place. The story of the preacher and the man results in something that is inherently unjust, but through no fault of either party. Rather it is the fault of the man with the gun. As such, while the preacher is altruistic and Christlike, he is not necessarily just. Saving the man was an act of selflessness, but not justice. In the story of Christ, Christ died for every sinner, no matter how vile. As such, Christians do not have to face divine punishment for their crimes, no matter how wicked their deeds are. I ask this: Is this just from a worldly perspective?
I have been crucified with Christ and it is no Ionger I who live but Christ lives in me and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave up His life for me. Galatians 2:20
March 2024 Excellent film👏👏 All praise to King Jesus❤🕊😂
Just once I want to hear someone say, why did the devil do this. Nobody ever blames the evil that’s in this world. They automatically blame God. 🙏❤️

Seemed like a good message, but I heard more music and crickets than I did dialogue. 😔

I grew up watching Channel 4 in San Diego. Simpler times for sure but you could trust the news, you could trust Ron Burgundy.
I loved this!!
The transition at the beginning is amazing.
This song is everyone's favourite in my classroom😅😂
Song name pls ?

The most wholesome comedy of all time
Thank You Jesus
God loves you.Thanks for video.
“Man that’s hilarious” lmfao
I love this beginning news program, great and funny way to introduce Ron Burgundy and his Channel 4 News pals, all setting up for what's to come. Not forgetting that quotable sign off at the end, "You stay classy, San Diego."
When you upset your audience when you said "go fuck yourselves". They took it very personally. All they do is turn a television on to watch you. You make good money, I'm sure. But they don't exactly contribute enough to be personally invested in your life. I'm certain that every last one of them is just wrong.
Between this, Robin Hood Men in Tights and Knight's Tale. These are my favorite comedy movies ever.
Go fuck youself San Diego! Boop boo doop dooo . . .
Just to make sure I have the analogy straight for my students (confirmation class), could I get someoneto fact-check this for me? I'm not so great with films hahahaha So in the story that the Younger broter brother tells, original sin is represented by the younger brother killing a man he was in a fight with, and Jesus is represented by his older brother, who pretended to be his younger brother by putting on the bloody shirt that he left on his bed (great symbolism!), so the police officers arrest him and executed him instead. And then, the younger brother, feeling bad now that his brother is dead, finally confesses to the cops once its too late. Wow. And then, there's the second situation, where the main character (John maybe??), is held at gunpoint by a criminal after hearing a woman scream because he is willing to live now, which happened because younger brother needed to go back to get his bible that he brings with him everywhere, and then he jumps infront of the bullet to save John. This is where i have some confusion about the analogy. We all agree that by being born we have all sinned, but having original sin be represented by a criminal (outside force), it almost feels like it blames God for original sin, and in the scenario, John is relatively innocent, which is not true at all of humanity. Thank you for reading all this hahaha, Loved the film! Can't wait to show it to my class!
Thanks for your comment. I’m a teacher as well so it’s awesome you’re showing this to your class. The story of the twin brothers is just simply analogy of the Gospel- Jesus (older brother) paid the price for us (younger brother) so we can be free from sin. This is repeated in the climax of the story- the younger brother pays the price, or takes the young man’s place who is about to be shot. A mirror image of what his older brother did for him and what our saviour has done for us. It was paid in full. All we have to do is accept it and follow Jesus.
I LOVE LAMP

Temptations are strenuous drugs or alcohol. Your film has shared made a clear picture of how hard it is to overcome these dismays but, with God all things are possible.
