Thank you for the information. You helped me get my turntable working. Much appreciated 🙏
Glad I could help!
I don't think you could have made this any clearer or more informative. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for your clear explanation.
You are welcome!
Well done! Thank you!
Our pleasure!
Thank you for the guide sir! I am looking ways to repair my small pc desktop speaker and this is probably the way to go. One question though, can i use instant glue?
Garrard, built to last.
Indeed!
Thanks for the video, I just saved one of these from certain destruction at a house clearance, the guy was literally about to launch it in a skip! Not sure if it works yet but looks complete. Nice looking little set.
Well done. Interesting video...
Thank you!
Great thanks sir taklu
You are welcome
thanks for advice.. I ll try this way. Would be good to laminate whole speaker just with PVA? I was just thinking it would make them stronger...
Might be worth a try but would ensure it is a very thin coat. Don't want to make speaker cone stiff!
What is PBA ? glue . I have used two layers of contact cement with suggess .
It's PVA adhesive (not PBA) - solvent free and waterproof once cured.
Elmer's glue.
had good luck with clear pvc pipe glue. foam surrounds bad shape. coat let dry recoat as needed
Thanks for sharing
Handy guide, will keep this one bookmarked for when the inevitable small child poking finger through speaker cone happens on my hi-fi
Happy to be of assistance :-)
Ah! The 1960s. A time well known for the appearance of attractive little pieces! 😊 🙈
