All this no setup?

I just purchased the AngelSense watch for my wife who has started to have dementia. I chose it because of a little more simplistic. If you have any other suggestions or points about the AngelSense watch, I would love to hear them.

Adt security system is not the best. You get ripped off before you even get started. There system is not creditable. Unless you let them take the money out of your account. You have to have them monitor your system and if you don't want them to monitor your system, you have to pay for it up front. You can't use the system.

After watching the video and reading all the comments I am more confused than ever. Yay!

I currently have Vivint but set up and appointment with ADT tomorrow. I have had vivint for 3 years and as of July 14th i no longer had live monitoring and no access to any video captured. They informed me that that portion of my service was a promotion and i would need to pay $299 to continue to have the service. I would have been fine had this been disclosed upfront. Just my experience. I would say ask about this when you sign with vivint.

I canceled the free trial and my equipment stopped working even my account. Also, when you cancel them, they immediately stop your warranty.

i moved from ring to eufy. I wanted 24/7 recording. I didn't want a monthly subscription. I wasn't happy with the video quality of of ring. and my ring was constantly going off with false alerts. I love my eufy 4k pro cameras the doorbell with 2 cameras one that points down to watch packages and my eufy floodlight that has a 360 camera that moves and will actually follow a person if it detects movement. I'm going to switch my moms system to eufy now.

With the bracket/arm mount, there's almost no room to connect the solar panel wire as the connection port lines up with the wall, so there's no space left for the wire as it will be a tight fit and/or the wire will bend 90 degrees. Arg. So frustrating this design.

So i dont see it on their website. Does it continuously record while youre driving? Or does it do like 5 mins then turns off and then again or only when it detects a Collison?

I recently lost the ability to get notifications and saved videos. I added local storage but I'm still not receiving motion notifications.

I had vivint I will NEVER go with them again. They're shady AF. The installation also isn't great.

What devices are compatible?

I'm watching this because using SimpliSafe for 3 years has been terrible in every way. Constant errors, frequent false alarms, bad tech support, high cost, crappy hardware, terrible software, worthless motion detection on their cameras. It's awful.

Once the doorbell is installed, how do you take the cover off to charge the battery?

I had no issues with outdoor cameras. One minor annoyance is that when you name a device from the keypad and select "Done/OK", it goes back to asking you to name the device again. You have to actually exit from the device setup, which seems a bit counterintuitive.

But couldn’t your kid just switch the settings?? Is it on their phone or your own???

My experience is that the arlo essential has proven useless without a subscription

We had a creepy vivint guy knock on our door. I won't support a company who thinks it's ok for a rep to be overly pushy and making my wife feel very unsafe because he is trying to make a sale.

Thanks for the quick overview and no fluff. You went over everything I wanted to know. My mother-in-law has been asking me about looking into cams for her house since she know I have Ring cams(6yrs old). These will fit the bill for her and probably a nice upgrade for my home too.

i have been a deep sentinel customer from the day they started. it is a high maintenance system with lots of camera wifi drops !!! i was willing to tolerate it for the yearly price of $500. a week ago my yearly balance was due and the greedy company raised my cost to $2000 with ZERO prior notice !!! i would NEVER pay that much for a system that has camera drops, faulty cameras periodically, and also had to replace 3 hubs during the time i had their service. the second time my hub died it took 3 weeks for them to replace it. that was unacceptable !!! as i said, it was still worth it to me at $500 yearly but now i am done with them !~!!! they should rename the company DEEP POCKETS security !!!!

This does nothing when the Venezuelan robbery gangs show up with wifi jamming tech and completely disable your system. What a complete waste of money!
