In this video, I will briefly explain about the cotton crop management during or after rains. Such as;
1) Standing rains water is very dangerous for cotton crop. It may cause wilting so it should be moved out from the fields. After that, fresh water should be applied to prevent crop from fungal diseases.
2) Urea 15 to 25 kg per acre should be applied in combination with sulphur @ 2 kg per acre. Or Ammonium sulphate fertilizer can be fertigated as second best option.
3) Mocronutrients foliar application gives excellent results after rains.It increases fruiting decreases buds or squares shedding and improves fruit retention.
