Health Sciences High has been designated an Apple Distinguished School Recognized for innovation, leadership, and educational excellence using technology.

Students have the opportunity to take general education college courses all while in High School. Health Sciences High offers several college courses, all for free! Visit hshmc.org to apply.

The Health Sciences High Kippy's cup was a wonderful way to wrap up the 2024 Welcome Week. There was so much school spirit in the air and we are looking forward to another incredible school year!

Watch as our students, families, and staff come together to celebrate the great accomplishments of the different pathways and programs: Hospital, Fire & EMS, Community Engagement, HOSA, College and more!

At Health Sciences High, students have the opportunity to intern at hospitals around San Diego, and eventually obtain their CNA certification through a program offered in partnership with Dalrada Career Institute. This program is offered at no cost to students.

The local organization, Tree San Diego, came to help the Community Engagement Class plant four fruit trees in the school garden. Hear from our students and Kurt from TSD about this beautiful process!

Best of the Best is an annual fire competition between other high school programs. They compete in 5 different exercises that are standard practice in Fire Academies across the nation. This year, Health Sciences High took home first place as they competed against Mt. Carmel High School and Lincoln High School. This competition took place at the Poway Training Facility in March of 2024.

3.14 was a day to remember for staff and students as students had a chance to Pi their favorite teachers with a donation to HSHMC's ASB team. The students are certainly looking forward to next year!
