No, I believe you can do this as any Horde race. The fights are not long enough for Regeneration to make the difference between living and dying. Troll is probably still the best race for this due to Berserking, but Tauren (HP + War Stomp) and Orc (Blood Fury) also have their advantages. As Undead you could potentially use a bandage while kiting with Hamstring and then Cannibalize during Intimidating Shout (and shadow resistance gives a small chance of resisting spells from the satyrs).

If I find the time, I'd like to do a 1-60 warrior run (and rogue, and druid, and another warlock run... no shortage of ideas - just time).

I did test the strategy with the evade spot on top of the house next to him. It works as long as you have Destructive Reach (36 yard range on Shadow Bolt), but it's not very reliable as a warlock, since he will periodically evade for a second or two, which removes all debuffs on him. And as you mention, the main issue with this method is looting the phylactery on the ground afterwards. I have succesfully done it before on a level 57 warlock by using my pet to distract the adds, but it was incredibly close and not something I would ever repeat on a hardcore character.

I think this is one of the cool things about 1-60 speedruns. They are so long and elaborate that there will never be a perfect run - the world record can always be beaten.

I don't have an alliance warlock to try this on unfortunately, but I think it's doable by kiting her west to Dabyrie's Farmstead, where there are some fences and buildings you could take advantage of.

Not an addon, simply part of the base UI in Classic (but maybe you have to enable it in settings somewhere).

I couldn't make it work with the base UI. The addon Modern TargetFrame seems to work tho.

wdym strategy ? they dotted and kited. As long as you can swindle the camera around to avoid pathing into unpathable terrain, this is ez on lock. You dot and run.

That's the "self-found" buff on hardcore servers - makes you unable to trade, mail and use the auction house (so you can use items you obtain yourself).

Fear has a higher chance of breaking from direct damage, but it rarely breaks from DOTs.

@@bowlanachos This is exclusive to classic im 98% sure.

I had not trained maces at this point, but more importantly it has a poison proc that breaks Gouge, which can be a big problem in hardcore (especially when soloing dungeons).
