Ah so you said a unit of ranger trackers and then a unit of ranger vanguard, but it was just two units of ranger trackers. Points make sense now.

Its not the most special unit or different from others. It is a fun addition and creates some new ways to play! That is always a good thing. Besides they are one of the most fun models to paint from the entire range tbh. ^Thijs

@@joelkelly4506 Oh we will do a batrep with them! Downside is that to make them most effective you would need two of them with Vic and Nute. We only have one atm.

Do you mean my archers (R'hlorr Lightbringers, or Sean's his GCC?) because in the case of mine I could draw line of sight from my tray to Cortnays tray without a problem, and I was in the range to shoot him. Then, if we are looking to Sean's his GCC, he is shooting at me from the forest. So the rules state that you are allowed to shoot from the forest, but if you aren't in the forest and want to shoot at a unit in the forest, you can't. See the rules concerning the forest for a better explanation. Hope this helps :).

@@RotterdamWhiteScars Thank you for your answer. But, as I see (in min 24:49), R'hllor Lightbringers can't draw a line from all the points of their fornt arc without block LoS with a freandly unit. And that is what i don`'t understand very well. Maybe for the translation. So, any point means every point of the front line? Or maybe means a single point? Thanks in advanced.

Jeroen: Well we have to wait and see :). Again I agree that they can be really powerfull however, if they aren't played correctly then they won't do that much.

Jeroen: Hi there, Happy to hear you enjoyed the content. Gregor rolled 10 dice here due to the old Adaptive style. During this period, when you chose to active him, you could grab 3 extra dice to your dice pool.

Jeroen: Exactly :).

Jeroen: Alright, I am going to try. So Sophie plays Price of Failure during that attack which means she auto hits, however she still rolls 10 dice to see how much 6 she can roll. She did this because they also had the precision ability. So in quick perspective the units hits 10 times but, you are still allowed to roll the dice and to see if you can maybe perform some precision hits in those 10 hits. Hope this make sense :).

Jeroen: Yeah if you compare them with the outriders I agree that they do more. But again I personally think it all comes down to listbuilding. Both units are great tools however, they are great tools if they are matched correctly :).

Jeroen: Hi there, I don't understand which moment you mean. At the end of round 3 my knights are standing against the R'hllor Faithfull. Sean even charged me that round and well retreating with them and set them up for a round 4 charge wasn't that needed.

@@RotterdamWhiteScars the comment was adressed at your opponent :) after r'hlor attack the knights and bring them down to 4 wounds and you marches forward with your infantry, he decide to pivot his pikemen and stand on the objective to score a point, at this point the game is over with 4 units against 2, i woulda taken the pikemen and charged your cavelery trying to dish out the 4 wounds getting a vicory point and a surge forward for a much better position and a slight chance at flipping the game.

Yeah it broadens this faction quite a bit! That's for sure. I don't think they do the same on speed though. As the unit is still movement 5 and using just crownlands scouts does not help you in any way as it is still "just" a support unit. ^Thijs

We also didn't want to make the video to much of a theoretical approach as we believe that can potentially derail the discussion into very odd and niche situations. By showcasing some ways to play it really gives some practical tips and ideas how to use a unit. Keep on watching! More will follow (also more batreps ;) ) ^Thijs

It almost seems like the sculptor has something to do with it. It is on of the great mysteries of our time! If we get a chance to interview the designers some day, we will definitely ask! ^Thijs

The movement of heroes is usually shown from left to right. It's "path of a hero" from the West to the East. You can find this pattern in movies and illustrations. So, that's why heroes are usually look at the right side. But in that case we can't see a shield if hero is holding it in its left hand. It's important to show shield, because it have heraldry on it. That's why artists draw a lot of left handed characters - to show shield.

I could have not gone. But it was the first GT the Netherlands and Belgium hosted. I was over the worst of it, so I just went too represent. As for the gimme plea. He had the game at that point for sure. We both knew that. Made enough mistakes too not come back from. So I could at least have a bit of a fight by allowing it. Would not make a difference other then showing a bit of courtisy too an already losing player. As for consceding. I rarily do that. A game should be played out cause I am there too play a game Win or lose. So how it takes it course and do not rob someone of their enjoyement even when losing. I lost my cool about how I got treated over time. But I find it robs something of the other player too conscede.

@@xraytheman Plz none of that is meant in an inflammatory way. It is hard to tell from a video. And I have only very limited expierience in competitive environments, so I might err here but it seems to me that the game was very tense emotionally from the start. Comparing to other recorded games it was interesting how often you were factchecking your opponents word on an ability. Which is maybe just normal in competitive playing. I normally just accept facts when somebody looks in his phone an tells me this is so and so. But as I said before.. i am not a competitive player. Maybe it only happens to me but I have seens loads of games turn with one bad charge. So I was not sure about the losing in the 3rd or 4th round. Your list was sound, your tactics ok although a little risky as Greyjoys often are. lose big lose big. And for conceeding. This was only meant if your were there strictly to support your community as player. or the tournament organizer. I often am the Orgaplayer and I concede quite often before the game and then just have a relaxed game with the player who would otherwise not have played. And I do really think, actually I know that, if your are not well you are not playing as well as normal. And yes courtesy is a very important thing. I agree.

​@@siadoc324NightWatch had a big change up last update and is not something I face on the weekly. I play it myself but that was before the update. So I had a lot unknowns and outdated knowledge too attend too.

Sometimes these things will happen and it’s never nice to see them during the recording:/… luckily at the end of the game both players could shake hands and they parted luckily positive which is at that point the most important part for me as the TO. But yeah I have encountered these games as well and I have also been on the side of being salty as hell. In the end we do what we can but, it is important not to go over that line so the say :(…. Anyhow I am happy to read that you enjoyed the game further and well hopefully the next one wouldn’t go like this :D!!

Wouldn't have made much of a difference. Jeor's unit destroyed the reapers and Cold hands didn't do anything for the rest of the round. He would have been able to redeploy afterwards at the start of next round. The only difference would have been +1 VP for the GJ player. Nice catch though.
