Yeah but I kinda get why she’s angry at Georgia, like I love Georgia she’s a great character, but she also literally killed two people, would you feel safe living in the house of murder? And smoked in Ginny’s room, not even the with her boyfriend part, I don’t care, but the smell isn’t coming out of there for at least a couple days, I’d be pretty pissed if I came back to my room and it smelled like cigarette smoke (I wouldn’t say anything about it because my parents would kill me, but I’d be mad too.) Also, over to oppression Olympics she’s literally right? Her teacher is racist. Of course he’d look for any excuse, like calling her work ‘unconventional’ in order to not let her succeed, I had a history teacher like that once. Sure, she probably shouldn’t have said he had it easier than her race wise, but he certainly does have it easier in that class. Are we forgetting when he pointed out Hunter as the only one who got a 100% right before giving Ginny back her paper with a 100%? That teacher sucks. Max: Ginny is the last person who should’ve been giving her love advice, honestly this girl is a mess, it’s good she kept her mouth shut. Also, I have more faith in Max’s acting skills than to forget her lines just because Ginny is actively trying to apologize. Then again I hate Max so maybe I’m just bias? Abby totally was in the right for slapping Ginny though. Yes, she also had family shit going on, but to go “iT’s NoT aLwAYs aBoUT you” the first time Abby even opened up about her feelings was super shitty. Then again, prior to that point Abby had been being pretty mean to Ginny because of jealousy or whatever so I understand the bitterness. (Even if Abby is my favorite character) In conclusion Ginny’s not a selfish bitch she’s just a normal teenager with mommy and daddy issues.

Do people not understand that ginny is not the bad guy here? She was going through some terrible things. Like imagine at 15 you find out you mom is a murderer. And i understand that Georgia did so many things for her kids but not all of them affected her children in a good way. Not just Georgia had trauma but also ginny. Also what do people expect ginny is the main character you think that the show is not gonna be centered around her. She was self centered sometimes but not every time she was mad at her mom or did anything bad she was being self centered. plus she is a teen with mood swings and things like that. but not like many teens she had an excuse for being rude to her mom

Anyone who has seen gilmore girls knows the parallels between these shows. They also know about the infamous fall of rory. The problem with gilmore girls is that rory started off perfect so she had no where to go but down. I think they made ginny such a flawed and unlikeable character so she has room to grow over the seasons. Yh she's annoying, but I'm thinking she will end up being a great character by the end.
