What is not shown is the damage to the jet pump shoe the grates and impellor and impellor ring was wrecked at the end. Crack the impellor shoe hitting a rock you are done when air gets sucked through the crack in the shoe. Chew up the impellor and ring sleeve sucking rocks again you could get stranded.

We have a couple of these and just ordered a 21’ for hunting. They are AMAMMMMMAZI !!! 1/8” water and it glides right over!!!
That is BS and as a professional hunting and fishing guide since 1978 working the Pacific NW and Alaska and a boat builder. You need 4 inches of water for a pump to work to take in the water into the shoe that hangs on an angle to catch the water flow under the boat hull. Even at 1/8th water the pump shoe is going to dig into the bottom and such rocks and dirt causing a stoppage and boat grounding.
now i need to go drink some everclear, to fix my vision, from that crazy camera lens.

It still blows me away how awesome these boats are! I was in a similar situation with a friend on his 420. Caught a sharp chunk of tree just above water line and tore a 3' gash in the front port side chamber and it augured into the rear chamber as well. He backed down off the log, accelerated gently and it seemed to be handling ok. We got clear of the area then slowed to checked it, tear was above water line so I just held the ropes to bring the side up out of the water as much as possible and we continued the 5km back to the launch without issues. Two chambers, one whole site of the boat deflated and it still got us home no problems.
imagine the north american pioneers had these frigging things. continent would have been explored in less than 1% of the time. if they could get fuel and parts whenever they needed.
Great camera work, and awesome boats. I wonder if they are legal on the Salmon in Idaho? Everyone uses big jet boats, so I'd think they would be ok, at least in winter.

420 Strela or 430 Superjet for the Mercury 25 jet. Actual weight is about 200lbs. The factories always understate real world numbers.
I’ve got a 25hp merc jet 4 stroke. A bit heavy. What boat would you pair with it? 380? 420?430?
4 stroke / 25 hp heavy and weak. For 430 best engine 40 hp, 30 minimum. Weight is essential. I recommend you to consider 2 stroke engine. Or boat 470 and engine 50 hp. I using 420 and 30 hp 2 stroke. This is required minimum to don't cry. 😂
