WRC is the best motorsport on this planet
This has some classic footage of the great 'Fats', and a young Mike Massey, both doing trick and fancy shots, as well as some other top plyers of yesteryear, that is actually the best parts of the video. Ah, the memories! 😊
Fuck pastrami
I will only race in pink gloves because of this video. I can’t count how many times I have watched this VHS or fell asleep to it as a kid. Think I can quote line for line and bike noises at this point.
Bel video d 'epoca che storia ❤
Love this video. I had a signed poster from him and this tape. I'd watch it every day after school and saved all my money since I was 6 to get a kx80. Never did get the bike. Chicken is still my favorite rider.
Did you finally get a bike?
SHUT UP JESSIE. You sold the company. Would have been cool to have seen a very young Jaymie Cernicka in this video. He has been there all this time. What a great ambassador for the brand and the sport! If I could ever buy McDermott Cues, I would appoint Jaymie president immediately. Long live McDermott!!
Have you got 1988 Canadian masters bloody CZcams took it down.
Have you the 1988 Canadian masters that bloody CZcams took down.
I don't believe I do.

Good sized bitch, always great when ya dont have to track em. Happy eating.
I was looking for this. Thanks for sharing!
I was the Propmaster/Set Decorator on this televised tournament. Not much to do but hang around with the players at the practice table or at the VIP room buffet/bar sponsored by my favourite beer back then, John Labatts Classic. By total coincidence, my father had become a BCE retailer a few weeks prior so I had free run of the event. In the evening I tagged along with Cliff Thorburn to a Karaoke Club where the two of us caught a thief walking out with our coats. Cliff threw the guy over the boot of a taxi into the middle of Bloor St. Someone had stolen his cue a few days earlier, so he was in no mood for half measures. The next night I went out partying with Jimmy White to Club 21, I think it was called, in a limo full of groupies. Looking back, It all seems like a dream.
Great story !!!.... Awesome....
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯👌👍🤝
I still have this VHS tape😎 minus that buzzing noise 🥴😂
oh my god used to watch this over and over as a child, dreaming about racing and what we were going to do to our own backyard track the next day ha amazing upload.
Yup that's how it be. You still ride?
Where can I buy the lathe?
Contact Chris Hightower at Cue Man Billiard Products..
7:23 D9's for days! My first cue was a D8, bought it in 89'. I was in college, the HOURS I put in with that cue! Broke and shot with it never let me down. I still have it and she hits and plays well in 2021. Though its not my main shooter anymore it's a true testament to old school McDermott quality.
Ni la resolución ni el sonido es medianamente bueno, podrían reeditarlo ?
Awesome. Thought I knew about everything there was to know about Travis. 55yrs. Old and was an aspiring mxer/freestyler that life had other plans for and being able to watch it through Travis and others was a great blessing. Watched unchained like 6times for telling how much a young Travis really had to do with starting freestyle.
is there a possibilty to get this in a good quality ?
I wish if you would upload it in a better resolution <3 . thnx
The sound is very bad
please send to me the mothod and process manufacturing the cue if you have, i need to complete my project , i appreciate yo so much !! my email: hoangdat180799@gmail.com
Thanks for uploading full thing :)
Really good doc. Horrible quality
I bought my McDermott directly in the showroom of the factory back in 1996. Went in to just look around but the sales rep let me choose a cue to play on the showroom pool table. Asked what I liked and what I didn’t with the cue stick. He made a weight adjustment and the cue played very nice in my hands. He took the cue from me and said he would be right back. When he returned, my name was engraved on the butt. He said I wasn’t obligated to buy it but asked what else would I want in a cue. Yeah, I bought it and still use it to this day.
7:17 is a no no for league and bar rules
Its legal in VNEA.
It is legal anywhere as long as you have to call it that way or just need to call the pocket. But these people were playing 9ball so then it doesnt matter.
R.i.p Willie
Man this brings back memories from owning and watching this vhs as a kid thinking my Kawasaki 85 was a 250.
Lmao. I had a yz80 thinking I was McGrath
@JoshuaDomoslai You still ride?
Recorded off dvd?! ;-)
Hi, I know, it's a bit "unserious" to talk about such things, but the people interwieved, were thy stoned? They talk such slow and 'beside their corps', it looks like they have had a nice puff of good MJ... But maybe I'm wrong, this company makes a heartful production of an artistic instrument to a ratherly produced piece of consume... that's the way humanity goes... sadly, we have such great potential, such great and capable brains to make the world like a paradise again... but we make war, corona in the laboratry, money-sucking-fucking @ the exchange markets... The human doesn't need a meteorite to go down, like the Dinos get... we do it by ourselves!!! :-D :-D :-D Greetz from Schwiiz, we are the purest caps!!! KissKiss!
What you wrote shows that you have no knowledge of the subject you are commenting on, pity, if you did your research you would know that a McDermott cue is a players cue and they also have collectors as well, they have a lifetime warrantee on everything they make in the US. I have tried most cue brands and some custom and my Mcdermott is just as good as any cue out there, in fact everyone that tries it wants to buy it even cue makers, so do your research.
I wonder if this facility still exist?
The building is still there, it was sold a few years ago to someone else and McDermott moved into a nearby much smaller facility.
Love the old school McDermott cues. My second cue was the first McDermott with a steel-steel joint - that was around 25 years ago. Still have a classic McDermott jump/break cue
I don't like to use stain on my cues it hides the grain
I watched this complete film and it was great. I learned a lot and again thank you. I bought a cheap lathe which I'm not satisfied with just for tip changing and cleaning but its off a little which I don't like. I'm fussy on things. I'll watch more of yours even though I'm not doing building but I sure enjoy these things.
