Yeah, this seems to be an issue with some people but not all. My suspicion is that a patch along the way may have affected this, but it's not consistent. I've had a lot of people tell me that it works, but a decent amount saying it doesn't.

The hood and mask are called the Shroud of Freedom, and it's my personal favorite customization. It TOTALLY looks like a hunter, 100% lol

I would highly recommend an app called No Man's Sky Assistant. It's free and it's available on type of platform. It has a solar calculator inside. It will help you figure out how many solar panels and batteries you will need based off of your base's energy consumption. Guessing and testing also works very well too.

God I wish I knew. It's honestly pretty ridiculous. Everybody who's upset will eventually play this and in all honesty there's a good chunk of them that will actually secretly like it but still claim foul.

I have Iron Vulture parts and you can put it together yourself in your save. We can meet up and I can give them to you. I've helped out numerous people in my discord doing this, and it works. Problem is that I'm on vacation for the next two weeks, so I won't have a great way of getting these to people reliably. But if you pop in, I can try at least.

Really surprised to hear this, and I'm sorry it's not working for you. I just performed this exactly yesterday on stream, and it still worked. Must be another factor we don't know about

No, but I put nothing past NMS wonkiness. I just did it on stream yesterday, and it worked just fine, but someone else just said the same thing so there's clearly something off. I wish I knew what was causing this.

It's a technique called glitch building and there's a whole community around it. I didn't get paid though, so that opinion I provided was actually mine. Throwing the word shill around is super offensive, and honestly I'd appreciate it if people would actually just think before they call names. I love Star Wars, and I had a good time with the game, full stop. If that fact alone makes you mad, that's weird, but if I say that I am suddenly an aggressor OR sensitive. Why is this even a thing? TLDR: I like a game and people get mad at ME and impune my integrity. So, what I'm being taught is that I should NEVER give an honest opinion because if I do, people will think I'm a fraud. So, should I be an actual fraud and bandwagon with negativity so I don't get verbally assaulted by a small minority of loud mouths? So, what's the answer? What do I do? I wasn't given instructions to speak highly of the game or the companies, nor was I coached in any way of how to react. How does anything you just said make sense with that. I've publicly roasted Ubisoft immediately after they raided me for all sorts of issues to over 400 people live, and they came back to me. It's imperative that you understand that you actually have this wrong. You've made a bad call here, you don't know me, but you're really not correct about this. The fact that you're going to triple down on this is what's really upsetting. At this point one would ask themselves, what's the end game here? What do I get from this back and forth? I was invited to see the inside experience of a franchise that I have been a huge fan of for most of my life, and I jumped at the chance and did it. I had a blast, and it was fun. That opinion was legitimately mine...does that change what you just said? It's fine if you don't agree with my opinion of this game, but you very easily made some huge judgements about me by saying what you did, and honestly, those are really deep cuts. I'm not sure why you would assume that about me, I've never done anything to break that trust that I'm aware of. If there's anger there, I don't think it's reasonable.

Tbf I was surprised to see that situation unfold as well. If this was genuine, then I'll certainly take it back - but you have to be aware of how things work nowadays since 99% of youtube is full of bought and paid for advertisements and opinion pieces. If you prefaced the introduction of "I got invited by Ubisoft" with "this is not a paid promotion, AND I REPEAT" you could have dodged every bullet coming your direction 🤕 And no, there is no anger towards you personally. Generally speaking, this stems from people disliking Ubishit and Star Wars nowadays. A mediocre at best looking Ubisoft game getting introduced by "I was invited", followed by plenty praise while cinematic 24fps footage is stuttering in the background, simply didn't do you any favors in this case. They got free advertising and you're saddened by comments and reactions because it felt off 😮‍💨 In all honesty Ubisoft better should have paid you for that video since it conveyed exactly what you didn't want - judging from your response and people's reactions. THAT IS BRILLIANT. Only PC folks could use that, but holy smokes, good thinking! Yes 100%, should work. I'd try using the key bind in the station first just to see if it switched ships before attempting, but I don't see why it wouldn't! EDIT: I was totally able to keybind a ship and switch it in station using said keybind...you're a genius!

5k subscribers is still a decent amount of people. but yeah I get what you mean, normally a company like Ubisoft would look down their nose at anyone unless they had a million subscribers or more, but they are in deep shit right now. What i can't get is why they made such an ugly protagonist to play as. shit she doesn't have to be beautiful, but why the witch face with that sharp pointy chin and nose?
