Great build man. I have a question. I recently wenybstage 2 woth a 207mm crank pulley on my s5. Initially o kept getting a squealing sound ajd ky performance was still good. In the kast 2 weeks my performance has greatly decreased under WOT and my 0to60 times went from 3.7 to now 5.1. the squealing is coming from the supercharger snout. Do you recommend i change the snout itself?

Hello, i recently started ti get this squealing sound from my S5 3.0. o was avke to pin point where it was coming from and using a mechanic stethoscope its clear that is coming from the supercharger snout. Im akso loosing power under WOT. Do you think my supercharger mught be low on oil or my supercharger snout is jad already.

hello i have a question concerning the dsg transmission, i noticed that when parking in a parking lot its hard to go extra slow for a perfect park what is the best way to drive slower when parking?

This looks like a tedious job I'm not sure what technique they use to do this on vehicles without taking the engine off and how effective it is, also how they scrape of the edges of silicon or gasket without the bits and pieces not falling into the oil pan. What would you say is a range of cost to have a shop complete this repair ? I'm going to have to do this to a 2007 Honda civic.

The real reason why not to downshift when accellerating is because, lets say you're in 3rd gear and speeding up, the other clutch has 4th gear in standby (due to DSG software). Downshifting at that moment, makes the other clutch to switch from 4th gear to 2nd gear, which takes a lot of time to do. During that time your revs gone up for 1000rpm or more, creating a huge danger to downshift at that high rpm.

Interesting... but car does these things automatically... just drive slow to make it last... Smoking tyres is not healthy for your dsg... I did that to mine and for now still holding up clocking 45000km... 😅

I changed my dsg fluid and decided to install the o ring that goes on the filter housing cover, wrong and lost about 3 quarts of fluid in 3 days.. i drive my bug hard ( 2012 beetle turbo 2.0tsi e888 Gen 1 dq250 dsg with ko4 turbo) and the fluid starded spraying from the filter housing and all over the dp... Long story short, i refilled to proper level and did a dsg relearn.. everything is fine but b4 i did the relearn, it was clicking whem i put ti in drive and 1 2 3 gears.. I immediately did the dsg adaptation and no more clicking and smooth shifts

On my Mk7 Tsi, there is a knocking sound from the front right side on small potholes, on rough roads, on rocky roads, speed bumps, even on flat roads. I hear that same sound and when I start the engine, I hear a knock-clunk at the same second. I went to several mechanics to check the suspension, and they all say it's ok. But the knocking still stands. Do you maybe know what it could be?

When I need to pick up speed on the freeway in my MK6, for instance, to overtake another car, I downshift to generate extra power. When I need to change lanes or pass another vehicle, I prefer to do so swiftly, without lingering.

Showing a stick shift car miss a gear while drag racing is NOT a DSG scenario....first of all you need aftermarket TCU software to go beyond factory redline and the car knows if it would go beyond that and lock-out the downshift to protect itself. Sorry, but this videi cannot be taken seriously by someone who actually knows how a DGS works.

I did a dsg flush with a mechanic just as preventive maintenance. And I am facing a few issues. Jerky while starting from stop and in reverse especially while going up a slop. Also some random jerkiness...any idea what could be wrong. Things very smooth before 😢
