    Its actually because unscented kitty litter like I am using is chemical free it’s 100% benzonite clay; (I may have spelled benzonite wrong) and that certain clay is what causes clumping and makes it good for casting sand

    Just gotta ask. Why Kitty Litter? Is it because of the chemicals added?

      @@Cloudranger239 I had been melting a few cans last weekend in my home made crucible of a 4 inch square tube, 6 inches high and 3/8 of an inch thick. I was wondering why I was not getting any higher after having melted a few amount of cans. Turns out my furnace actually melted the crucible after only a second use of it!!! I think I have to dial it down. lol I couldn't believe it and nor did my neighbor. HE was like , WTF Dude????!!!! lol

    Why on earth would you use electrical tape and not slip tubing designed for this. Now it's going to make all the wires sticky and fail over a fairly short amount of time.

    Hi teacher. can you answer me with details Of copper recovery? Q #1. what deference between copper oxide and sulfide? Q#2.is nitric acid good or sulfric acid for copper desolves? Q#3. i get copper powder from rock with both acids such as nitric desolve a lot of powder then sulfric. but nitric also desolve the iron rod or electrolysia metal😮. Q#4. how i can use zinc for recover from copper nitrate or sulfte. ?

    • @Cloudranger239
      @Cloudranger239 Před 22 dny

      I’m no teacher my friend but I will answer your questions to the best of my ability. Q1 Oxides can often be dissolved in weak acid, making copper recovery efficient. Sulphides, on the other hand, don't leach, so they require a different process. Oxides ultimately produce a high-grade copper cathode, while sulfides result in a concentrate which needs further processing at smelters. In terms of recovery; copper oxide takes a process involving a foundry (keeping the crucible covered) and carbon process to get copper metal. And copper sulfide has no oxygen element so oxygen is introduced By heating copper sulphide ores to produce copper oxide which is then treated with sulphuric acid to form copper sulphate. Once you have copper sulphate you can dissolve in water and cement it out with either aluminum or sodium bycarbonate (baking soda). Q2 Nitric acid is way stronger easier to dissolve with but way more expensive, even if you make it yourself it’s tough and time consuming. Sulphuric acid is harder to dissolve wit , but cheap. Done right both will dissolve good, then cement out of solution using the table of reactivity. Q3 Your anode (what ever metal you are using is always sacrificial; meaning it will always dissolve even with a graphite anode). This is why I started using a catch jar under my cathode to keep my pure copper separate from the trash iron and tin that was in the bar I purified in my videos. Q4 To use zinc you can use it as an anode like the iron rod in Q3, or in copper sulphide or sulphate,and nitric solutions you can rough up the surface and just drop it in to cement the copper metal out, because zinc is higher up on the table of reactivity.

    hey bud, well I like and shared your video, and subbed aswell, and hit the bell haha why not?! very intresting way of using that tool box, doesnt it make it time consuming going through the box looking for a screwdriver you need? did you try maybe a tool pouch? or something you can you use with just some tools you always need to be more accesabile? or I guess everyone has their own way of using tool storage methods lol, anyway take caer man, and God Bless.

    • @Cloudranger239

      I’m pretty much just using what I got your right a roll or something might speed things up but due to the size of the box and the openness of it since I don’t have much in it it’s not a big deal plus I keep all the drivers pointed the same way helps, I’m also in the future going to use my cnc machine to make some wall hangers for the screw drivers; thanks for your comment
