aspar is a hard board so will last but also looks worn quicker... blade plays better as a board

@LoveDarts I used to have a blade 6 tc. Great board indeed but it started dropping darts after 6 months of intense use. I just ordered the goat. Thanks for the recommendation!

Not that I remember buddy. Most boards are targets and not used for decoration so I expect it to get battered up over time. Had no issues though. Appreciate the support!

Erm I don’t know tbh without trying. I don’t tend to repoint the darts unless I’m using them. They should be ok target points in a target dart!

Yes any Swiss point target dart is designed to fit any target point, nano will eliminate the lip making this dart amazing

I’ll try them out tomorrow and see what I think m. From what I remember they didn’t feel super aggressive or grippy. Think I’d stick with the 2 rating but they are stunning.

@@LoveDarts - ah, I really appreciate you digging them out again. Yeah, I didn't think they were aggressive, but just wanted to know if the coating made the barrel non-slip. My finger and thumb tend to slip on smooth tungsten barrels so was hoping that this gel like texture would help. Thanks for the reply and revisiting the darts for me!

@@Its_A_London_Thing the cuts give it a very slight grainy feel to it so it’s not smooth smooth like you are suggesting but also not significant at all. It’s quite a comfortable grip for the lower rating. Hope that sort of helps… hard to fully explain.

@@LoveDarts ha.. No, that's a good enough explanation. It's such a shame that they're aren't any shops anywhere near me where I can go in and try before I buy... You'd think London would be swamped with dart shops given the popularity - but I've amassed 15 sets in 14 months trying to find a grip profile that suits me. I've now ordered the Phil Taylor Gen 9 as I'm told that has a non-slip rear grip! The other set I'm mulling over is the Barney 25's. But I'm hoping that the Gen 9's will be the last purchase I make for at least a year - or month as has been my current form! 😂

I advise 23g tbh. It’s a popular weight for a reason and the sooner you find something that you feel comfortable with the easier it gets. I stay away from longer barrels as you tend to get better control. These bombs are pretty short so I wouldn’t say start with these. I’d go with something 23g and under 50mm long. I think that’s a good basic!

@@LoveDarts What is tbh? I'm sorry I don't know some terms. I'm thinking of buying two mvg sets. What do you think about these two sets, exact and authentic? Can I get? Can you send me the link of the set you recommend? Also, should they both be 23 grams or should I prefer one set of 22 grams?

@@noweanji I find mvg a bit long personally. Nice darts though. Search on Dartshopper for something around 48mm long and see what takes your fancy I’d say. Tbh means to be honest. Sorry haha

@@LoveDarts A friend had the aspire series, 23 gr. I had the chance to experience it a bit, the feeling of holding it in the hand seemed very nice to me. That's why I wanted it to be an mvg series.

Harder to find now. Facebook groups and eBay are your best bet. Some smaller shops may still have them.

Designa dart repointer. Most are similar. The only 2 I’ve had issues with was the target one that looks like a brick block and the xqmax one

You have a bit of a throw with what you have so they can evaluate and then make some changes.

Had a good few sessions with these now, and they are the best dart I’ve ever thrown. Straight to the top of my collection. They are so comfortable to throw, my finger grips the front section perfect every throw. They also look amazing in the board. 🎯

Never had them slip really for me. Always quite nice snug fit! I use the carbon ones.
