Put the 4x4 fenders on the d21 Working on a few videos we’ve done in the past few months. Progress on our rb25det 240z project is about to fire up seeing we have finally sourced out all the parts we needed to complete the overhaul. What fan clutch is that
If I can remember correctly it’s an oem replacement from the dealer for an m series Cummins
Was it easy to undo the antenna? I saw another video where the guy ripped it because there didn't seem to be a connector.
I didn’t have trouble pulling the antenna
Couldn't see what you were undoing around the windscreen, maybe a good idea to have the camera set up where you are working, Complete waste of time.
Philips heads screws on the Cowl and wiper arms, there’s a fender bolt underneath it
Dumbest clutch design ever - replaced the clutch assembly less than 8 months ago. Not working again.. need to lock it up with the two provided bolts but you have to remove the dumba$$ fan to do so... vs the other set screw style or on a cat you can do it in a minute
Hey man my truck cuts on and makes up to 30 to 60 psi and stops making air could it be my compressor ?
I’d say it could be a leak somewhere or water in the tank. Typically if the compressor goes bad it won’t build

Hi how do i delete the air compressor from my engine. Is the fuel pump drive different from the air compressor drive? I'm using the engines for a boat so don't want the compressor there. Thanks
So unfortunately the way it’s set up you’ll need to have something made up as an adapter or just run the compressor with a pressure regulator to have on board air maybe you can use it for a lift pump for the haul seeing you could potentially utilize it
@@spiritperformancefactoryto9635 thanks for the quick reply. . I don't think i need air on the boat to be honest. . I have asked someone else and they said i just need a spline to lovejoy adapter. As the air compressor is spline and fuel pump is jaw coupler. Does that sound right to you?
Yeah that’s the adapter I was referring too lol, but the mounting of the pump is going to be the tricky part because it bolts to the back of the compressor and the bolt pattern isn’t exactly the same
@@spiritperformancefactoryto9635 yeah i thought that. . There must be a different mounting plate as for use on generators and marine engines. . I'll strip it down though and see if its easy enough to line up and drill new holes. If not its back to the drawing board 😆
Did you have to time the injection pump or anything or just bolt it right up
It’s got a key way and only goes back together one way, didn’t have to worry about it
You wanna run your fan belts loose lest you blow accessory drive seal or worse spin cover bushing. She sounds good!
Does the air compressor band make the fan turn also?
The only way the fan will be able to turn is from the belt system. Air compressor and the fan are 2 separate components.
Hey man by chance if my air compressor went out totally would my truck not crank over
Absolutely not, just wouldn’t build up air pressure. If it’s not cranking it’s the starter or something locked up internally

@@idirisesse5443 I used a vise to hold the wrench in place, flat, on the closed end. I used a propane torch to heat up the middle of the wrench. Then used a pair of channel lock pliers to bend it over about 90 degrees or close to it by eye then twisted it and pulled back up til it looked close. With heat you can pretty much make it how ever you want. Just don’t go to hot.
