After 3 years of covid, SCBF returns with performances from the December 2022 Regional Festival - more to follow.

In a unique commissioning project by the Scottish Brass Band Association, four Scottish composers were commissioned to each write three works to help bands emerge from the Covid pandemic. Here is Voyager by Cameron Mabon, and performed by the Whitburn Brass Band. More films to follow from this great initiative.

16 Bands and ensembles participate in our second virtual festival. Guest performances from Lomond Brass and two of Scotland's euphonium stars - Scott & Chris. The Scottish String and Orchestra Festival launches with performances from East Renfrewshire and Aberdeenshire. A "Lock Down" Tuba virtual production - hopefully will bring a smile to a few faces ! This quartet is for two Eb Tubas and two Bb Tubas - all performed on a Wessex Champion Ebb Tuba - a great instrument with great sound throughout the entire register.
