When I was young... back to 90's... IOS for ever!

I cut hair topless in cowboy boots for 3mths on this island in front of far out cafe back in the late 80s 😂 Made tons of cash and had a blast:)

I've been to IOS 4 times and the first time was back in 1993! What I've noticed lately is that it's getting worse every time I go... or it's probably the fact that I'm getting a little old😂😅🤣 It used to be an island laid back (in a good sence) with most of the bars playing rock music... oh, I missed those years. Surely my favorite party island I have been to and believe me I've been to all the party islands around Greece. Of course that all depends on your taste in music and the way you want to party! Just caught up with this. I spent a summer around the Islands in 1980 (yikes) and I LOVED that bar. I loved that Island. Is the sign still up at the Port? "Welcome to Ios, all religion, all people: Enjoy your holiday'. (Or something very similar).

Was there in 1990 and '91 Tomato bar,Upside down bar, Far Out bar and many others was there on and off a total of 3 weeks was a party isle then and continues to be now. I remember Ourania (a lovely lady) and her husband had a cool Pension and owned and ran the only 2 buses there in the town i wonder if they are still there? Plakiotis travel running a Visa card scam was another memory. Was the least Greek island i saw but lots of semi vivid memories as it was difficult to remain sober in that place.

Was called Far Out Camping when I was there -95 ;-)

This was the place to be in the middle of the 80:s. The far out cafe and no more. One vhs movie 20:00 1 hotel and a camping. But many rooms to rent. Some nice pubs in the village One outside discoteque. At that time greece people called it "the island of 69"
