How much weight does the insulated handle on top?
Looks nice! I noticed the recessed lights here flickering. Was that because of the rain?
Whats the depth ?
❤ love it love it love it.
What was the cost to build that patio.
can you walk on the cover to clean the solar panels? it should if its holding 32 panels, no? whats the cost for the patio cover that can hold all that weight? alone?
Good Day, If you already have an Insulated patio roof can you still have lighting and fans installed?
I hate videos like this because they don’t explain if this was a a pre-or post porch and how he tied up his beam into the existing wall
How much this one cost now ?
The price for summer 2022 would be around $15k I’m guessing give or take (Elitewood Product)
@@mikesousaabovebeyondpatios3801 What are the dimensions of the patio L x W?
As always great job. The more of your videos I look at, the more I kinda change my mind as to what I want. I do know it will be much bigger than this and wider for sure, with a bbq island at the front end (to the side.)
Can you install a ceiling tv mount on an insulated patio cover to hang a tv? Like the work you guys do.
Mike, noticing all the patio posts/beams are a good 9" to 1' to 2' in from the edges? Any reason why they can't be lined up flush (post edge to insulated cover edge)?
Nice job as always. Too bad you're not doing any work beyond West of Pasadena, I'm in the heart of the S.F.V. part of l.a.. The landscaping came out great too with the cinder blocks plastered and painted.
Hey Mike, can an insulated patio be made into A-frame type covering? What I mean is that a 17' plus another 17' shaped in a A-frame (both projecting or length wise), without any posts in the middle for additional support?
Yes absolutely
Hello what are dimensions for the patio?
Oh no, not another video from Mike😁 If you need a patio cover, this is the man to do the job. Great guy, great work and one of the best decisions we made for our home. Thanks Mike - stop by anytime for a cool drink under the patio👍
Beautiful. Roughly how much would this cost? double the size
Great looking roof, I have 2 questions, 1. will they be installing gutters ? and Do you come down to the riverside area ? Temecula, Murrieta ?
Hey Mike I just got a rooftop patio but the only thing bothering me is that gap from the patio to the roof I just don’t like how it looks any way to get rid of that?
I’m looking for the same thing. Alumawood over existing concrete pillars. What did that cost
Like $8 -I believe call me at (909) 806-5951 thanks
beautiful
How did you mount the fan? Is something above the cover to support the fan weight?
What kind of concrete piers are required for this in your area? 2’x2’x2’ with #4 rebar?
Approx 32” x 32” x 32” footings
Nice work!! Would you be able to get away with just one post vs the two installed?
Possibly? with a proper attachment to a king stud, proper steel and footings and correct materials and city approval. I have done it, if I can have a 2nd post ? Then I’d prefer to use it.
@@mikesousaabovebeyondpatios3801 gotcha! I’m sure it’s just easier to add the second post vs getting engineer plans, city approval, messing with either siding or brick, etc.. thanks for the reply! Another question, how does one get into this business? I’m in Texas btw..
This is awesome how much will cost 💲 something like this with solar system???
I’m guessing over $50k
Know of anyone in Vegas that can do this the right way?
Yes 👍🏼 look up Celebrity Patios Ken Jones in Las Vegas. He is very good. He is one of my mentors from back in the day.
Dope patio cover. Is it available in the Dallas market?
I have built a bunch of these, i live near dallas area. Let me know if your interested i would be more than glad to get one of these built for you
What kind of shades did u use you your patio
Hello dear i would like to know the price of those & how long be Don for this job
Whats the cost of that?
Actually I saw that patio roof. Its awesome. I need that for my patio.
I am doing the same thing using the Newport Alumuwood non insulated with the 6 LED lights. I like those lamp post though looking good. 20 X27 foot
In Arizona we have to have covered porches
My back porch and front portico is built together with the house frame
Do they move with heavy winds?
These patios are built to withstand 110 mph winds
Nice !!
How do you put the curtains on ? You said it was real easy than never showed how.
The customer bought something called Aluma hangers, Aluma hangers are an aftermarket product to help customers hang plants or curtains onto their patio cover afterwards.
What was the price of that patio?
Hi Mike, Where I can buy the Beam Lyft brackets
The width was about 48ft you said. What is the maximum length or span you can go from the house wall out? 48ft x 15ft? 48ft x 18ft? Please let me know
Hello Alfred, There are so many variables that will determine that. Usually having the roof at about 20’ is a decent projection and you’d have the beam and post at 18’ approx. Again there’s so many things that would determine that, like wind speeds in that area, city, footings, no footings, thickness of ceiling, mid span beam, type of roof. My cell is (909) 806-5951 if you ever have any questions ? Thanks much
@@mikesousaabovebeyondpatios3801 Thanks for replying.
Enjoy your videos! I live in AZ and just had a non-insulated cover done. The company didn’t do electrical at all or work with electricians. Now I’m scrambling to figure out how to add fans and lights. Electricians in my area seem to be lacking the know-how on this too being that the cover is already installed. Maybe you could share your experiences around this and/or offer advice?? TIA!
Feel free to call me (909) 806-5951 we can help get you in the right direction. No problem
@@mikesousaabovebeyondpatios3801 Do you have any recommendations for the Jacksonville FL area? The companies I've contacted all use the same thin cheap looking aluminum for patios
What load rating are those columns?? Looks like you have a 4x4 with 2 2x6’s making a single beam! I like the idea. Is the 4x4 cemented or are they all surface mounted?
Harvey, I don’t know the exact load..? We’ve got fixed your post on top of massive Footings with the thick of steel beam running across to support the load of an insulated roof If you ever have any questions get a hold of me at area code 909-806-5951 Thank you and make it a great day
What does something like this run?
Just near $20k with permits, steel beams post, electrical etc
How much would something like this with a span of 16x30?
Please text our office manager (626) 484-0788
About $10k give or take with lights, fans switched and dinners with Elitewood insulated product. My number is (909) 806-5951 Mike Sousa
Great work Mike. Wondering who manufactures the long metal beams you often use? Thanks for any information. ML
Hello Mike, The Steel C Beams that we put into the header for structural integrity comes from the patio factories. I’m not sure who they buy them from.. they come usually in 3 thicknesses (12, 14, and 16 gauge) hope that helps 😁👍🏼
Whats the longest you can go with for that open space between the beams? Is it 20’? I have a similar situation
What’s the cost of this cover
I believe with insulated, all electrical, permit fees and footings ....between $10-$12,000
@@mikesousaabovebeyondpatios3801 we got qoutes for 28K-30K for 50x15 insulated Elitewood patio cover. Do you have references for N. Cal?
@@LizA-ry4nb I’m so sorry I don’t know anyone in that area. The price seems to be in range for something that big, done at quality with premium materials for Northern California. My cell is (909) 806-5951 if you have any questions. Texting is best or leave VM Thanks
Sunpower won’t attach to an aluminum cover :0(
I know companies that will Call me anytime at (909) 806-5951 good luck
Way to go Mike! You guys rule! I’ve worked with you so I know your heart has always been in the right place with serving customers... and it continues to show! Keep it up 👍🏼 #empathymarketingmovement
Thanks so much My friend
I know this guy! I met Mike a couple of years ago through a permit service I own. I love to see the passion. If you're in the market for a patio cover company, there's hundreds of companies to choose from, take it from me having worked with so many over the years, Mike is a stand up guy and he's honest about the love of what he does! Way to go Mike! Inspiring!
Thank you kindly, these works mean much to me and my pursuit of connecting with clients to do quality work w/ integrity. Much appreciated
Can you do a video on how electrical is done? I see the EMT along the house but what about wiring to post lights? Recessed lights? Is wiring run within the post and roof panels?
