It’s crazy how Rock and Steel are supposed to be THE defensive typing. But put them together? They’re somehow even weaker than they were before! Just look a Aggron, Bastiodon, Probopass, and kind of Stakataka (that last one at least makes up for it a little with its massive stats as an Ultra Beast)

You don't know how breathtaking it was when you just played the first game and then you make the step to Gold and Silver. When my brother got Crystal we were amazed by the detail of the sprites movement. Sometimes we just went to our pc box to look at the sprites. Funfact: If you see the Pokémon in the wild or in a trainer battle they're moving obviously but if you have the Pokémon on your team or your PC their movement extends!!!!

Wholly agree with it being the least favorite Eeveelution but also not hating it, just nothing to really write home about. The original 3 will always be iconic, Umbreon and Espeon will always be top 2, glaceon just being “cooler” and Slyveon just being better at like everything.

Gen 2 isn't my favorite (Hoenn and Unova for sure) but I do have a ton of fond memories of Gold version. I definitely like Johto significantly more than I like Kanto, Sinnoh, Kalos, Galar or Paldea though and a little more than I like Alola.
