Mladý koumák je zájmový kroužek pro děti ve věku 6 až 15 let, které mají zájem o techniku. Tento kroužek je pořádán společností Rohde & Schwarz Vimperk, která se specializuje na elektrotechniku a komunikační technologie. Kroužek je otevřen pro děti z okolí Vimperka a nabízí jim možnost objevovat fascinující svět elektrotechniky, programování a dalších technických dovedností. Firma jej organizuje ve spolupráci s Domem dětí a mládeže ve Vimperku.
Děti se ve skupině setkávají s technikou a učí se základům elektrotechniky. Pájí, staví elektrické obvody a programují jednoduché projekty. Tímto způsobem se seznamují s praktickými dovednostmi, které jsou v dnešním světě stále důležitější.
I během letních měsíců se Mladý koumák nezastavuje. Pro děti pořádá nejen technicky zaměřené letní tábory. Každý rok v rámci kroužku vyveze děti na výlety za světem techniky.

Thanks for the kind feedback! Since the presentations are animated PowerPoint, I make most of the simple graphics directly within PowerPoint -- I think many people underestimate just how flexible the PowerPoint drawing tools are. For more complicated things, I use Adobe Illustrator, and most of the measurement results (traces) are exported MATLAB plots of saved measurements I've made.
@@pauldenisowski Thank you, I'm using Inkscape for the moment (still learning to do vector graphics). I will try the PowerPoint drawing tools more extensively next time I use them.

Thanks! GPIB is still an important technology - many of our customers still use GPIB and even our newest instruments have GPIB as an option. And a knowledge of GPIB is helpful for understanding SCPI (which I'm covering in an upcoming video)

if your ultimate goal is to reduce the voltage, why use a FBR? Why not just grab the half of the cycle?
It's inefficient (conversion wise), and produces an awful power factor. It also requires larger capacitors to keep the output stable, which naturally cost more. I'm sure there's other reasons- maybe it causes more coil whine?

I take issue with the statement that non-augmented GNSS does not have sufficient accuracy or reliability for aviation. That just isn’t true. The level of position accuracy required is dependent on the performance based navigation requirement (RNP) of the phase of flight or approach being flown. In enroute airspace or for the purpose of flying a non-precision GNSS approach, augmentation is NOT required but that has to be considered in the approach design. Obviously GNSS based precision approaches will require GBAS but that is a very specific instance. I live in Australia, we do not have SBAS, we fly IFR and shoot approaches IFR using GNSS every-single-day.
Thank you for the explaining video. However it is very disturbing how the editing is done. In my opinion it is WAY too frenetic. Almost like you're trying to shoot the new Mad Max movie. It would be much more pleasant to watch if the editing was much less hectic without continuous zoom in zoom out slidings and so on.

I own an HP 54503A, first of all, because I like vintage stuff and cathode ray tubes, but this 500MHz oscilloscope is still a beast, able to find glitches in signals of just a few nanoseconds. In my opinion, the Achilles heel of oscilloscopes is not the device, but the the probes: For example, try to measure power supply noise. You are unable to use the alligator clip for ground, wwaaayy to noise, you need to use the spring. This is such a big issue that most people measure it wrongly...... I know there exist high-end active probes, but that is actually the point, because it means these devices are not available to the masses: The vast majority of scope users are stuck with cheap passive probes that they use in a wrong way. I have both the original high-end HP probes for my 54503A, just as well as some modern ones. The modern ones are built out of more plastic than the original ones, but functionally there ain't a lot of difference. IMO most oscilloscopes are now so advanced that even low-end scopes are good enough for most tasks. However, probes have mostly remained the same over the past decades and engineers run into their limitations every days. This is the place where we need innovation. I think active probes need to become the standard, but current active probes are so costly that no engineer will use them unless absolutely necessary. The manufacturer who makes better probes available to a wide audience will be king.
I STILL dont get it how you can have a sideband without the carrier. If the sideband is created by modulating the carrier energy, but you take that carrier energy, how can you modulate that which isnt there?? Its like saying 'here is a sandwich' while suppressing the bread. A sandwich MUST have bread or its not a sandwich.

Yes - on slide 11 the BW line is in the wrong place (should be to the right) and on slide 9 it's correct for Gaussian but should have moved to the right for Flat. All the other slides are correct. Thanks for letting me know!
