Loving how this painting came out! My goal was to create something very simple but gorgeous that would be easy for you to try out yourself using only a few colors. When I was new to acrylic pouring, I was completely overwhelmed by all the products and techniques out there, it can be a lot to take in! So I like to make videos using limited colors and products, all without silicone, to show you that it's possible to make some stunning fluid artwork without all the complication.
This painting came out just how I hoped, simple products but with a powerful energy, thanks to the composition and metallics!

Ingredients for this painting:
- Amsterdam Titanium White
- Pebeo Gold
- Soho Bronze
- Golden Gloss Medium
- Water
*Pebeo and Soho brand metallics both make beautiful cells and lacing. I just used what I had, you don't have to mix metallic brands like I did. Both these brands also make lots of cells when combined with Amsterdam paint. If you're having trouble with cells and lacing in your acrylic pour paintings, this is a good place to start!
Recipe:
- For all the colors: 1 part paint 1 part Golden Gloss Medium, then add water to thin. Consistency - when drizzled off a stir stick from one inch above the paint, the drizzle leaves a mound that stays for about 2 seconds and then disappears back into the cup.
* I give direction on paint consistency as opposed to an exact recipe because the amount of water will change depending on what brands and colors you are using. Getting the right consistency is the key to achieving the results you want! This consistency works for me but don't be afraid to experiment and find what works best for you!
