I remember when Carl told Rick he should take a break from leading, now he's mad at him for "playing farmer" and that the group was counting on him. While I agree that they have been even if he was stepping down but Carl, *you* told him to step down... I understand why some people don't like him here. But at the same time.. he's just a kid, or a young teenager I think. He didn't ask for *any* of this, teenagers lash out because they're upset, and it's even worse for him because he no longer has a stable home or family with no healthy outlet. As far as he knows, everyone else could be dead. It's just him and his dad whom he's angry at. Not only that, he's grieving the loss of his sister who he thought was killed. This may not have been the most mature way of letting his emotions out, but come on... not many people would be mature if they were his age and were in his position. Plus, he ended up apologizing in the end when he thought Rick had turned, he couldn't bring himself to shoot his dad and he immediately regretted what he said, "I'd be fine if you died".

It’s a real shame we never saw him grow up to be a man. It would’ve been nice to see him become so strong, and hopefully Rick teaches and finally had a fight protect himself.
