Thank you! The truth is anyone can be good at this game it just requires A LOT of practice. Since I started playing a lot at the end of 2021 I've ridden over 2,500 times.

So I believe I had the record for each individual game the 2 unknowns are aliens and the final target. I believe 180-190k is possible on aliens and I've hit the 5k on the final target 7-8 times before. So assuming all of that the max theoretical score would be around 765k. But with my max scores as of now the max score would be around 750k. This is all theoretical though, the odds of matching all my records in one game is super slim. Realistically the max possible in a game is probably 710-720k.

So I'll answer these in order: 1. I'm the only person in the US that can score 650k+, there's only one other person in the US that plays mania a lot like me and his record is 630k 2. From what I've seen from your mania videos you play the bullseyes layout that I hate. I like the layout where there's lots of overlapping targets, easier to hit every target quickly. At DCA there's no rows with the bullseyes layout you like where the fox on the henhouse is on the left side. At Hollywood Studios you can get that layout with rows 6 and 7 on track AB and rows 1 and 3 on track C. 3. My situation is very unique, the Cast members are super awesome at DCA and like 80% of the time I just get sent thru LL, sometimes they'll even walk me right onto the ride. For instance this last Sunday I probably only had to wait standby like 3 or 4 times. 4. 2 reasons why this happens, something is wrong with the game computer which will make every vehicle skip it or the vehicle your in either doesn't pull in far enough or it pulls in too far. 5. I've never played against another 600k player before so I'm not sure. I'd guess somewhere in the 400k range. 6. The first UFO always comes down close to you, after that it's completely random 7. I live fairly close to the Disneyland Resort (about an hour and 15 min with no traffic) and I usually go out to florida twice a year.

The 691k was me lol. The main difference between this round and a 690k-705k is I was a little low on ham and eggs, aliens was low and I couldve been faster on the final target.

@@AlexanderProudstar The alien stage here is actually fixed now, it got fixed during the refurb. I usally go Saturday and Sunday so I probably won't be there any of those days. There's a possibility I could be there that Friday the 9th but probably not.

This is the guy that got 690,000 lol. There is no max score it is just limited by human capabilities.

No one has ever gotten 700k, been my goal for a while to be the first. There is a max score on the ride because it is timed. All my best scores on each individual game equal about a 735k game, but I don't think I've quite found the max on aliens yet. My best guess is a theoretical max game would be 745-750k, but in terms of what's actually possible, I'd say 705-715k is probably close to max game.

Yea the music in between games is out of sync from the music at the games. Lots of more important stuff that needs fixing at DCA mania though, wouldn't complain if they did fix it though.

It's really challenging to get my top runs on video, even this video is just scratching the surface. Every weekend I have several 670k rounds and at least 1 or 2 680k rounds as well.

I'll do my best, it's just hard to get games on video because I need to have someone willing to ride with me to video and usually I go to the parks by myself.

Thank you! It's just consistent practice to build up the endurance so you don't get tired. Working on an energy management strategy can also help so you can shoot as fast as possible for when it really matters. Congrats your 400k!

Yeah I have general pattern that I stick to. Something to keep in mind though is it's quicker to go as fast as you can and come back for what you miss.

It just takes a lot of time to build up the endurance to shoot fast the entire time. If I can get on without much of a wait between rounds that also helps

I managed to score 699k this past weekend and that is now the world record. No footage of it unfortunately though.

I hold the trigger between my index and middle finger and flick my wirst for most the ride, I then switch to using my arm for the final target. It just takes a while to build up enough endurance to where you don't get tired.

The main difference is just that the secret works so I can play the full secret instead of the abridged version I use at DCA. I actually screwed up on the first 2k on the secret, had I not I probably would've been closer to 160k

It's really just practice. It probably took me 50-100 games before I could get it consistently. Even today I still miss it from time to time.

I do have one minor question though - is there any point at which having a partner is beneficial rather than harmful? I’ve noticed you don’t have a shooting partner in most of your games, which makes sense for most rounds, but for woodys at the end would it not be more advantageous to have someone else help you get to the first clear faster and open up the 2000 bullseyes sooner?

Thank you for the kind words! Given that pretty much everything I learned from the game was from CZcams I try to be as transparent as possible whenever anybody has any questions. Every once in a while my high score friend that I hangout with will assist me and I'll assist him on getting the meteors on Dino darts quicker and getting the bonus targers on bullseyes a little quicker. It doesn't make too much of a difference but it definitely does help a little bit. Typically though I go to the parks solo so it doesn't happen too often. I'm hoping I'll at least beat my 685k on my trip to Florida this month but breaking 700k would be amazing. Hope you break 400k soon!

So honestly what you see in this video is just scratching the surface of what's possible, I screwed up a lot in this round. My best while I was out in Florida was 685k, but I would frequently score 640-655k. Those rounds I'm doing pretty much exactly the same thing I'm doing here just more refined and usually faster.

I love the third track when I can get in a good row. During the day when it’s busy I tend to prefer a/b though

I am certainly an outlier, I go at least once a week and ride 20-30 times. I've also started working on an energy management strategy so I can have more energy for bullseyes and the final target. Most of the shooters at DCA are not calibrated properly at all and shoot way off to one side or the other. I tend to prefer row 4 or 8 because I have the least problems with shooters in those rows. (They're still not great but at least they're not unplayable like some shooters... *looking at you vehicle 16 from row 1 or 5*)

@@oof4dayz I've tried that before but I just can't hold/pull the trigger right with my other hand and I can't switch fast enough. Don't go telling this to anyone yet but mania will most likely be down during July. Hoping it's a little longer than that because there's so much wrong with it.

Hi, I just came back to tell you I went back to DCA (I live about 1.5hr from there) and got a good shooter. My new personal best is 232,400. I'm not that fast yet so I had to have a buddy help me unlock some the harder secrets while I focused on actually getting the secret targets lol

Where I typically score on each game, with a working alien screen it is very difficult not to score 600k, my high on this trip was 685k just sadly no film of that. There is a pattern on plates if you miss the secret on the first go to still land in the 88-92k range

@@frozonestorm I'll do my best to answer all of your questions to the best of my ability. 1. I always start with the fox, then do the pigs and the cat, and then the gophers and the ducks. I tend to shoot the hens when going for the gophers and on the way back to the pigs/cat after shooting the ducks. There's 2 times in the game where I split the gophers so I can get the fox as soon as it pops back up. 2. I've incorporated the donkey, the mice that flips the barn, and 2 of the mice inside the barn into my pattern. If done right it adds an extra 5,500-7,500 to your score. It has pushed me from consistent 58-62k to 62k-66k. 3. When aiming for the meteors I aim at the center and do my best to follow it down. I struggle with the 2nd and 3rd meteor I just can't seem to get the angle down. 4. Each meteor has several 1k balloons and one 5k balloon in the center. I'm not sure exactly how many pts each one is worth. 5. There is a pattern to hit every "bonus target" on plates along with all the targets at the bottom, my advice is to never chase targets on plates. I have a detailed explanation of my pattern on plates that I will reply to this comment with. 6. When clearing the aliens in the rocket I typical go in a circle getting all the outside aliens and then getting the 2 in the center. 7. For the zurgbot at Hollywood Studios and Tokyo always shoot at the 500, 1000, and both 2000 zurg bot. I only play the 2k at dca because the secret is broken here. 8. For the woody stage is essentially memorized the arc of each target set and I just shoot in that pattern and if I miis any targets I just double back for them. 9. For the sliding or sidescrolling as I call it I just do the 2 500pt targets and then the 2k target and repeat until out of range. I always use the fast set which is the one on the bttom right. 10. I assume here you're talking about the final target, it takes a while to get consistently fast enough to hit 5k. I actually throw my arm up in a postion where I have more leverage, helps me to hit the 5k 2-5 times consistently. Personal question: 1. Toy Story Mania is very popular at both US parks, I just simply wait in the line. Foruntately the CMS are great on both coasts and will either let me re-ride sometimes or they put me through Lightning Lane. 2. My personal best is 685k, and I have not come to Japan but I imagine the game is pretty much identical. 3. Other than the theming around it a little stuff here and there they are the same as far as I know. Game wise they should be identical. 4. My score of 685k is the world record. 5. Yes I also play astro blasters, my best score is 6.4 million. I hope I was able to answer all of your questions :)

My pattern for plates: Start by hitting the 3 100 and 1 500 plate on the bottom of the screen and then the 2 500s and 1 1k plate going across the horizon. Then strafe right-left across the target on the bottom of the screen and immediately after hit the 2 2k jumping plates. Strafe across the targets on the bottom once again and try to hit one of the subs in the back. Then follow the 4 2k plates up on the right and get the 2k plate flying across. Then go down to the left gold plate and strafe across all the targets towards the bottom. If you miss any pick them up after you get the first tank plate, if you didn't miss any you can hit the subs in the back. After the 2nd tank plate shoot at the 4 2k plates on the left but leave the very top one or else you'll reset the secret too early. After the 3rd tank plate strafe across the targets on the left half of the screen, get the 4th tank plate and then do the other half. Right after the 5th tank plate you're going to want to shoot the 2k plate flying across, and hit the final 2k plate that is still jumping, this will reset the secret and give 2 bonus 2k plates. Once you reset the secret strafe across all the targets on the lower part of the screen, get the bonus 2k plates and then strafe across all the targets one last time and hit any subs in the back if you can.

So technically it has always “worked” but there is a ring cap on the screen and once you reach that cap it’s random how many rings it will count for the rest of the game. In the past I’ve waited until the 2k for maximum amount of points, but I was trying something different this weekend

Plates is very tricky but there is a pattern to hit almost every single target consistently, I'll do my best to explain it. Start by hitting the 3 100 and 1 500 plate on the bottom of the screen and then the 2 500s and 1 1k plate going across the horizon. Then strafe right-left across the target on the bottom of the screen and immediately after hit the 2 2k jumping plates. If you miss any pick them up after you get the first tank plate, if you didn't miss any you can hit the subs in the back. After the 3rd tank plate strafe across the targets on the left half of the screen, get the 4th tank plate and then do the other half. Right after the 5th tank plate you're going to want to shoot the 2k plate flying across, and hit the final 2k plate that is still jumping, this will reset the secret and give 2 bonus 2k plates. Once you reset the secret strafe across all the targets on the lower part of the screen, get the bonus 2k plates and then strafe across all the targets one last time and hit any subs in the back if you can. If you can do all of that consistent 95-98k is very possible, my highest so far is 99k but I think 102k is possible. Aliens is very tricky as well, being fast with the extra targets, accurate with the UFOs and knowing exactly when to shoot at the secret will land you in the 140-155k range consistently. My advice for being accurate on the UFOs if you struggle with that is to shoot below the UFO to make sure you're lined up and then go up and on to the UFO. My friend used to shoot on the UFO and then follow it up so it flew threw more rings, but I wasn't able to nail that down when I was in Florida. And then for the 2k robot the trick there is to shoot early enough at it so that when it opens you have like a wall of 5-10 rings on the mouth that you can push in with the rings you're shooting. Very tricky to do correctly but can lead to and extra 15-30k. Sorry for how long this is but some of this stuff takes a while to explain. If you need extra visualization on plates everything I learned was from this guy, and then just altered my pattern a little bit to what works best for me. (czcams.com/video/c-B13nHy9DY/video.html). There's also contigency pattern on plates, for instance, if I missed one of the 4 2k plates on the right that would be the 2k plate I leave for last and I would clear all on the left. You never want to chase targets on plates because of how fast that game moves. Hope this helped

And you're more than welcome for the pointers, if you can just get consistent on the first 3 screens at WDW, consistent 600k is pretty easy. The alien screen is broken here at DCA so it's a little more challenging.

​@Toy Story Maniac haha the spreadsheet was exactly why I asked. And yes he doesnt really play anymore, he broke 600k and stopped. Had two close games today thanks to your advice though! Scored a 585k and I had flipped the 5k and hit it once so another 3 wouldve gotten me there.

My biggest suggestion there is to get faster at getting the meteors, 5-8 seconds left over after the meteors is ideal to clean up extra targets on the screen. Then just work on getting more accurate with following the meteors down so you can focus on the magenta balloons, and steambubbles. If you can get to where you only leave 1-2 balloons on each meteor that is pretty much an assured 90k. There is a pattern for 110-120k on Dino Darts I just can't quite get it nailed down, I've broken 110k twice you just have to be very fast. If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask :)

Yeah that was me! Truly the trick to 600k is just getting consistent on the first 3 games and bullseyes. As long as there is no problems with the shooter I consistently score 250k+ after plates. Consistent 70k+ on bullseyes is also very manageable once you learn the timing. Once you can be consistent with that it’s just being fast on the final target and aliens is super easy to score 120k+ out at Hollywood Studios. If you’re curious this was game by game for my 652k: Eggs - 60,600, Darts -103,900, Plates - 96,600, Aliens - 133,600, Bullseyes - 75,400. If you have any other questions feel free to ask me! @trashboy03 I do fine in the first three although my highest in ham is only like 58 avg is like 53 probably. In ham do you start the pattern by hitting the fox on the hen house first or do you start with the two cows above the fox? From there it looks like my same pattern. Darts I think 107 is my high but avg is like 90's. I don't have many questions there. Your plates run looks like what I do I just must be not shooting enough things my avg is low 80's. I know the trick to start the plate sequence again at the end of the game in order to get the 2k plates to pop one last time. Honestly aliens and bullseyes is my struggle. So I have hit 142 in Aliens once but I also have thought I was in for a high score only to look down and see 105k. With that in mind it looks like you take your time with your speed, do you think the game "registers" the hits better that way? Sometimes it feels I pull too fast. Do you always skip the 1000 robot in alien? I tried your pattern yesterday of skipping the robot until the 2000k and got like 110 so not awful. I've also been told that only the 5k targets will stack up in alien so no use in shooting more than one or two towards the other targets. Now bullseyes is a different beast, what is your timing and targets? I feel like I do that pattern but obviously not. Sometimes I feel like I clear it very quick and others not so much. When you're shooting at that bottom row of targets, the middle one specifically has things that pop up and block your darts. So with that bottom target do you like hit the left side first, then the right to trigger those water jets i think it os or bottles, and THEN clear the others? Does that make sense? I see you're at 77k which is nuts the highest I ever am at is like 62. After that the rest makes sense I just gotta get faster at tagging the targets back and forth. If you could get a clear bullseyes run that would be great lol. But congrats again, do you think 700 is possible??

​@@happypedro12 So for eggs I always hit the fox first. They key to 60k+ on that game is keeping the fox down at all times. This sometimes means splitting the gophers so you can get the fox back down as soon as it comes up. For aliens the pattern I used on this run I only use at DCA because the aliens screen is broken. We have a ring cap on the screen here so it usually only counts about the first 15 rings and then is done for the rest of the game. I had a lucky break on this game where it decided to work, usually I score about 85k on aliens at DCA. Now out at Hollywood Studios, everything seemed to work great so you want to play the 500, 1000, and both 2000s. You want to make sure you don't get the secret too fast so you have enough time to do the first UFO. When I was out at Hollywood Studios I was going for consistency on that screen instead of score so for the most part once the secret started I only focused on the UFOs and the Robot mouth. Since the UFOs count more than one ring I was really making sure to focus them down. There is a certain timing to utilize the UFOs, the robot mouth, and the other targets to be consistently 140-155k on aliens, I just didn't have enough time out there to practice that, I was consistent 132-138k most of the time. So bullseyes is very difficult to explain but I will do my best. First off there are 2 different variations to the bullseyes screen. On one of them the targets overlap and are very close to each other, on the other variation there are no overlpaiing targets and everything is super spread out. You want to play on the screen that has overlapping targets, it's much easier to clear everything faster. At Hollywood Studios that will be rows 1, 4, 5, and 8 on the A/B track and rows 2 and 4 on the C track. The first part of the game is how you open the targets, I've seen people go in a circle but I don't do that because I feel its too slow. When opening I start with the bank on the bottom left and then go up to the one right above it. Then I move down to the target set right at very bottom center of the screen, then up to the hotel in the center, then down to the barrel on the bottom right, and then finally up to the target on the top right and then strafing across to the target to the left of it. Then for clearing the initial targets I start with the 3 targets at the top right, then moving down to the bank, then the bottom center set, then the barrel, then the far right target set, then the hotel in the middle and 3 targets above the hotel. I try to go just the right speed for clearing thse targets so I don't have to waste any time doubling back. There's also a little bit of luck involved with how much the beer bottles that fly everywhere deflect you shots. On a good run I clear the targets 2-3 seconds before the audio prompt halfway through the game. Then for clearing the bonus targets I start with the bank and the bottom center target set. I always make sure to clear every target here so that I can reopen it later. Then I move to the far left of the hotel target set going over it from left to right then over the 2000s on the barrel, then over the 2000s on the far right target set, and then over the 2 left over 2000s on the 2 target sets that only have 3 targets each. Once I finish that I reopen the bank clear those targets again and then open the bottom center set and clear those again. This is usually when the game ends and if you can do this it should lead to 72-73k pretty frequently. Very once in a while I'll be able to clear all the targets on the hotel target set on my first pass allowing that set to be reopened and cleared again, leading to 80k+ rounds on bullseyes. My personal best on bullseyes is 83,200 and I think that games maxes out around 85k. I've done the math with my high scorer friend at DCA and we both believe the max possible score would be about 720k, so I do believe 700k is possible. You'd just have to break 110k on darts, 150k on aliens, 80k on bullseyes, max the final target, and there's very little room for error on anything else. If you're still a little confused about bullseyes I can try to get a video of a good run on bullseyes in the next couple weeks.
