I am literally that person who will wait until the next day to apply stickers, lol! I LOVE nail stickers so much. This set was full of gorgeous color, Megan...I'm a little jealous of that coppery color! Your thumb is giving Hocus Pocus in a great way! I know you took most of this set off right away, but do you happen to notice any discoloration from the Seche Vite after a few days? I have their quick dry top coat and a base coat.....the top coat shrinks and turns greyish. Very frustrating.

For me, it was very hard to work with. It just stayed in one spot and wouldn't really move with the brush too well.

See nobody is talking about this! NOBODY! I spent hundreds on different brand gel-x tips because I fell in love with the system thinking oh I can save money, learn to do my nails from home! But I found out after alot of wasted money, hours of research & weeks of trying to get tips to fit that I have really deep c-curve nail beds! Even the Aprés sculpted tips I can't find my size for all my nails! It felt & still feels hopeless on the topic, like my only option is polygel or acrylic! But I'm not nail tech lmfao and the whole reason I invested time, research, & money into gel-x is because it's not as difficult to learn to do as acrylic! It's nice to see someone else talking about this, that someone understands the struggle!

I love this set so much--it perfectly matches the game I've been playing for the past 4 years, Sky: Children of the Light. The issue you had with the one nail is probably what deters me the most from dragging out my plates to give stamping a try again. I just got so discouraged when I'd finally get a good pick up only to have it go south in the application. But!!! I'm learning from your stamping vids, and have for sure picked up some things I wasn't doing before, so maybe....one day:)

Thank you for this! My nail beds look just like yours--fairly large, deep c, round cuticles. The reason I've always preferred soft gel tips is because I can really pinch them before application, which helps them wrap around the curve of my nail--the plastic ones tend to break or get really ugly seams in them, which is a problem if you like to use gelly/sheer polishes. To date, the tips that work the best for me are the Apres Sculpted. The Apres also seems to keep their shape a lot better than the other ones I've tried--I don't have to touch up the shape as often as they wear down. Once you know your sizes, you can just buy those in the individual packets, which is much cheaper than a full box, but I've noticed my size seems to vary a little depending on the shape. My preference is also to apply the nail a couple of millimeters away from the cuticle, then fill that space with builder gel or base coat. That way I never have to file the cuticles, and the grow out is really nice and soft. You can also use that trick to make tips that are a little too small for you fit from sidewall to sidewall.

Im a young person learning how to do nails i was very sad bc the box I got it didnt come with the luqid or the uvlamp also it didnt come with the clippers the nail glue or the cuticle oil pen and i don't expect it to come with everything bc it was from amazon it also didnt come with the charms but hopefully you enjoyed yours🤗🤗🤗

Whew boy, so the 90's are back, huh? I wore all those goth rings back in the day--loved my dragon ring. He held a tiny crystal ball on my finger and was just the best little finger-pet, lol! FYI, the blue ones are most likely blue zirconium, made to look like blue topaz (my birth stone.) The amber colored one was made to look like regular topaz (my mom's birth stone, lol.) The purple-green stone is supposed to look like alexandrite--gorgeous! The purple might be kunzite. The milky looking stones are chalcedony. The mirror-backed stone is meant to look like either moonstone or opalite. >from a former jewelry artisan:)
