Exodus 12:49 is talking about the Passover ordinance. And it talks about circumcision. I understand in the New Testament it talks now about circumcision of the heart. In verse 47 it says all the house of Israel shall keep the Passover. In verse 48 says, “ And WHEN a stranger dwells with you and WANTS to keep the Passover to the Lord, let all the males be circumcised, and let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as a native in the land.” So this is only if a “stranger” wants to keep the feast does verse 49 apply. Another question: I remember that the only ordinances in the New Testament we are told to do is water baptism and communion. Do you teach water baptism and communion as well? Just trying to understand. Without me reading reading verse 28, Jim makes it sound like it is a command for everyone to keep this Passover, but with careful reading it only states that if a stranger dwells with Israel and wants to keep the feast. It doesn’t say the stranger has to keep it. Also, what about the circumcision for males? Who picks and chooses what applies today and what doesn’t?

In Genesis 26:5 what is the difference between God’s commandments, his statutes, and his laws? And in the New Testament is law and commandments the same thing and is this just talking about the Ten Commandments? How do we observe the feast in our modern times? And for the sabbath which rules apply to us today? Can we drive, what part of cooking can we do, can we enjoy a hike or does it need to be a light walk, and in the Old Testament people died for not keeping sabbath. Just wondering who decides what aspects or rules to follow regarding the sabbath and feasts? Jesus fulfilled the spring feasts so I am guessing believers should keep the feasts for remembering what Jesus has done for us? Where exactly in the New Testament does it say for all believers to keep the feasts? I guess I am asking, which parts or laws of the Old Testament do we keep or not keep? And how do we keep feasts when we cannot afford it or not able to take the time off from work? Fortunately, my work and husband’s work does not interfere with sabbath.

The New Testament is a CONTINUATION of The Old Testament (Torah) minus the books of Paul The FALSE APOSTLE. The REAL Apostles of Yahushua never appointed Paul they appointed Mathias. The KJV did not have the final authority from Yahuah. They took out the books of The Apostles and the books of Enoch and put in the books of Paul. The Torah Dietary Laws STILL APPLY. So no pork allowed! No shell fish! Nothing creeping crawling... The 10 Commandments STILL apply. The Sabbath Day is SATURDAY the 7th day as reflected on many calenders NOT Sunday the 1st day of the week. The 6th Commandment is You shall not murder. Because self defence IS ordained. And we are to STILL observe the Feasts/Observances of Israel commanded to Moses for all the generations of mankind. They are not "just for the Jewish people" because we are all to be Jewish. I’m retired so I offer mental health counseling services for free to anyone who needs it. I desire to see people Whole and allow the Holy Spirit to minister to them in a unique way that only God can do. I’m just a vessel. It is the Lord who does the work in the lives of the people. I just listen, counsel and pray for those who come into my life.

Was curious about the passage that occurs 3 times about seething a kid in its mother's milk and what you can elaborate on the matter. I read an article from Jerusalem Post saying it was pure metaphor, but that didn't make sense in context of the readings to just throw a metaphor at the end of talking about offerings. I could be wrong of course. I find it odd the Rabbi added to this themselves that you can't even eat meat and dairy together when the scriptures by no means says that. I read it could be referring to Canaanite ritual, but there's no evidence for that. Again... What do you say on the matter???

Man - christianity is attacked feom all sides. Catholic/ Orthodox with praying to the dead, worshiping Mary and now these people pushing Law based theology.

Be saved by the law or be saved by grace. It is an either/or option.

“God is not schizophrenic.” True, but He does deal with His creation differently during different dispensations. This was never addressed. Before Noah (Gen 1-5) people ate a vegetarian diet. This is inferred because, when Noah got off the ark (Gen 9), God said to eat anything which crawls upon the face of the earth (Gen 9:3). There were no dietary restrictions of any sort. In Lev 11, God gives His Chosen People a new list of things to eat - and not eat. This list applied only to the Israelites. Since I am NOT an Israelite, this list does not apply to me, nor do any of other 613 laws given to the Israelites, because I am outside of that Covenant. Acts 15 answers the question of what Jewish restrictions should be observed by new Gentile believers. Not eating pork was not one of the four admonitions. These issues were sidestepped very conveniently, and disappointingly. Since I am not a part to the Covenant made with Israelites (Dt 5), I in no way feel bound by the non-moral aspects of the Law.

If you really call yourself a true follower of The Way of Yahshua, then stop twisting His words and do what he says! I don't miss eating unclean animals whatsoever!

God allowed brother sister marriages initially but declared forbidden later. Is that a problem? All eat bacon/pork, including moslems except when other meat is available.

Not everything was meant to be food. People naturally just want to do anything and everything they want even if God said not to.

Christ stated it is not anything eaten by the mouth that corrupts, but what comes out of the heart. It is the verse in the Gospels, not Acts, that removes the diet of traditon much like circumcision. For it is circumcision being taught, separation between jew and gentile. Another reason the vision is repeated three times was specifically because it was Peter who denied Christ three times. The removal of importance of diet comes from Matthew 15 and Mark 7, separating the laws of tradition. Now why did Christ who is God do this? To make way for His atonement and to take our focus off the minutiae and put it on Him where it belongs. If you view food as an issue, do not eat if it is a sin in your heart, for those who understand through Christ it isnt do not try to tempt those stuggling. This video misses much of scripture to focus on Acts chapter 10. Remember Psalm 46:10, "Cease striving and know that I am God."
