Children know God without being taught. It’s part of being. Your existence proves you had parents who created you. Creation proves a Creator. Creation didn’t create itself. Creation wasn’t an accident. Design didn’t create. The Designer created. Patterns prove a Designer. The veins in you and a leaf prove design.

Creation without a Creator is the issue.

I sometimes wonder what the world would be like now, if religion had never come about. I have a feeling it would be a lot more peaceful!

My answer to why there is something rather than nothing is I don’t know. The existence of the universe is just an observable fact in our reality. Its presence alone says nothing about how it got here.

If humans knew exactly how the world was created and exactly what happened after we died, it would spoil life itself. We are not designed to understand. Nobody knows the mystery of life and nobody ever will, and that’s the best result ,so just enjoy ,don’t use mental energy trying to Solve a problem that’s is not solvable ,the greatest brains before have not succeeded.

He is brilliant. I am also someone raised as a Christian and am now an atheist. He makes a lot of great points. A couple of his points are not logical arguments, but the vast majority are. A very thoughtful man with an incredible talent for humor and for capturing the commonalities of our humanness. His show "Afterlife" is one the very best uses of media ever.

Children will trust what their elders tell them,like going to sleep early on Christmas eve or santa won't deliver their presents,then those children get to an age, where the logistics of delivering billions of presents in a night mostly via a chimney is basically a big lie, but it did get young children to sleep so their parents could have a bit of peace,and god is in the same bracket as santa to me,yes the thought of him has got people to behave well or face Hell,and it's worked in the main in its goal,but does a God exist.... Prove it, and santa if you will.

I don’t believe in organised religion. I am a spiritualist and I believe there is force for good and also a force for evil. I wasn’t taught this. My parents were non practicing Christians, one Roman Catholic and one High Church of England. Through schools I was exposed to Christianity but questioned everything. So what was different about me and my family? We are all psychic to a degree. We just know things. Predictions come out of the blue. Some of us have a connection to the recently passed. Believe me, the first time you get a message from a recently passed is freaky! I know that the majority of people who are reading this will laugh at me. It doesn’t matter. The peace, tranquillity and limitless love that you feel when in contact with others will never leave you. I, for one, have no dread of dying. I just wish that everyone could feel this truth. One thing that you learn is to always be kind to others and always smile. Blessings on you. 🤗🥰

What pisses me off is Americans claiming in a court room that they a godly and follow the bible, except for murder and theft they never seem to follow that bible rule. They also eat pork and especially bacon, shell fish and meat on a Friday, yet they ignore that rule but the once it mentions man sleeping with another man they follow abundantly. The bible also tells them that anyone working on the Sabbath should be stoned to death, but again they love the fact that shops are open to serve them on their Sabbath day. In their eyes god does all the good things in life but forget about all the children who die at birth, cancers, aids and a massively long list of other ailments.

My daughter came to the conclusion on her own, because of the religious class before her Communion. She came home and started asking questions. But all I said was, what do you think about the story they told you. Her first big one. If Adam & Eve were the first & only 2people & they only had two son's, where did the rest of us come from. Because that would mean that Eve had a baby with her son's. But that's wrong & bad.. I said OK so what do you think now. She said " it's all lies, made up story. Also because the earth is millions of years older than what the Bible says it is. My daughter was just turned 7. She only went along with her Communion because she didn't want to be the odd one out or get mocked in school. But you could see her rolling her eyes when she had religious homework. If a 7 year old can figure out its a pile of crap. It makes me laugh even more when I see adults trying too tell people he's real & you need to take him into your heart & you will be saved.
