Do you use a 1/4” to midi converter box? Or how are you setting up the guitar as a controller?
This is from a full video on my channel where I explains everything. The short version is, 1/4 inch jack into my audio interface and then I’m using the software midi guitar 2 to convert the audio to midi

Is there a way to also have the dry sound combined with the converted midi synth playing at the same time?
I do this by having one instrument track with a synth using midi guitar 2. Then I make an audio track that’s input is set to the same as the guitar DI. Then I put an amp sim on it to have a synth and guitar play the same thing at the same time. If that makes sense?
@@acoombesmusic oh, thank you! Kinda surprising and unfortunate that there isn't a button that adds the dry signal to the sound. Guess I'm gonna get a different plugin that doesnt force me to do work-arounds.....

I am not sure. Not tried anything like that. You would need something to bridge the gap between the computer and the prophet?

LK100D model is exactly the same specs compared to MM Luke III, only the wood use for body and neck, fix 12db boost, fretwire (type, width and height) and nut type are different. As for the latest LK100, its actually look the same but feel different since it is setup to 0.10 regular slinky string, 24.75" scale length (not really sure - since its only shown on few website with this info), different pickups set but I do like the decal "LUKE" instead of LK100 as on LK100D. Plan to replace my LK100D fretwire to stainless as the frets is badly worn out but still waiting for the reply from SBMM customer service for the exact size or model of the original fretwire or will change to compensated nut if cant get the exact size of original frets height.
Where we can the backing track?
That first overdriven tone is crazy, sounds modern yet vintage at the same time.
I think it’s the beauty of the transition pickups. I felt that way about a few of the tones I got out of the guitar. They’re very dynamic and have a unique voicing definitely not just another paf imitation at all. Thanks for watching!
It would be cool if the velocity worked better or at all
It always sounds so perfect with all these users on CZcams. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but it sounds like dog to me. The sound bounces back and forth like a ping pong ball or I don't hear anything at all. And when I want to play a sound from my own hard drive, be it from Kontakt or BBC Spitfire or Opus, I hear ... nothing. The program would be a dream if it would work.
It takes a lot of time to dial in the settings. Also it's a simple thing but is something that took me a while to do, if you're trying to write melodies or lead parts. always change it to monophonic mode. You get such a better response and tracking also if you play in a guitary way with slides and stuff like that, it is less punishing with the bouncy notes. With some of it you do have to play your guitar in a very un guitar like way. Think about how a piano plays notes instead of a guitar.
Latency?
Very nice instrumental. I'm considering LSL as my next. Questions: are you using noise gate? How is the fretwork, specifically endings, any sprouting? I'm in humid (summer) / dry (winter) area, so that is always of concern.
Thanks. I would’ve used a very light noise gate on the distorted rhythm tracks but that’s it. The fretwork on all my LSL guitars is top notch. Never had a problem with any of them. Humidity in the U.K. is very stable so I’ve never really had those kind of issues in general but I would imagine they would be as stable as anything else due to the roasting of the necks and how good their truss roads are (they make their own).
