Getting on the 10 freeway at 3:35
Merge onto the 110 freeway at 7:23
Los Angeles Convention Center is the big green building on the passenger side at 7:35
Driving through the heart of DTLA at 8:30
Good view of the Wilshire Grand Center, tallest building west of Chicago (if you count the spire), at 8:50
Quick glimpse of the US Bank Tower, tallest building west of Chicago (if you don't count the WGC spire), at 9:05
Merge onto the 101 freeway at 9:55

    There’s little to no front yards I see. Is that because the backyards are more spacious?

      Yep, especially in this neighborhood. A lot of the backyards have good views of the city since they're up on a hill, some can even see the ocean, so you tend to see backyards with big decks, pools, etc. to take advantage of that.

    14:10 was the ramp metering for I-605 north on?? How do the ramp metering signals know when to turn on and stuff? If there is standard congestion shouldn’t it be on?

      Uncertain, but I don't think so. This was around 8am on a Sunday so traffic was lighter than usual. Appears to just be standard congestion as everyone merges onto 605N.

      @@theautomotivegabe I believe it's based on time of day. So there are designated windows when the on-ramp meter is running (rush hour, etc.), which would also explain why it isn't responsive to off-hours congestion.
