Getting on that part of Sam Houston Tollway at the Briar Forest entrance ramp and wanting that far left lane, well, you sure don't have much time. True. Also getting on Tollway just past Westheimer and wanting that left lane exit to Westpark Tollway towards downtown, you sure don't have much time, especially when there is a lot of traffic. And, let me tell you, taking this Tollway Sourh to take the Victoria exit to hwy 59, well, just before the elevated exit ramp, just past Bissonet, a steady stream of cars are getting on, most wanting the downtown exit to go to work--my what dangerous tricky merging. And in times of heavy traffic, if you are not absolutely choke driving on the tailgate of the car in front if you, they will cut in front of you, thus saving them one second.
