I can see how hard it is to study so hard only to be below someone who didn’t even try. I’m not entirely sure of your current situation in education but I can try to share some tips which might be useful (you don’t have to use but can keep in mind). I don’t know your study methods so it might not work. 😓 I tend to not study the night before but take a lot of notes in class and pay attention. I make sure I am able to understand the concept before moving on. Writing a cheat sheet is also beneficial and can improve your memory (if you’re not good at remembering). Cramming at the night before is not as good because the information is still brand new and fresh and is not stuck in your head. Review a different section of your notes for at least 15 minutes a day. For example, reviewing could just be copying your notes down again. It will be useful! It is bound to slowly become information that is basic knowledge! ***Your notes don’t even have to be complicated! Make it simple enough for you to understand. If you think you can comprehend more, go for it and research more about it, but researching more is just a bonus! ❤*** So overall, don’t do it last minute and do a little bit each day. It’ll become slowly easier! Another thing is to ask your teachers about what the test/exam is on and try to list out all the things covered there (which I think you already know). There, you can study for the right things you need. If you struggle on a certain area, don’t be afraid to ask for help since it is apart of learning. These methods are how I usually am able to pass my classes. I hope it helped even 1%. 😭 Failing a class/subject/test/exam is the worst feeling ever, especially when someone passed without seeming to do anything.
