Alec push everyone away and not agree of anything but end up be there for them 😭 don't want hurt people he care about but end up hurting himself, do thing what the best for everyone but everyone seem not see that and end up people blame him 😭 will do anything for people he loves even though he know he gonna get hurt (magnus) . . . . . . my heart hurt but I'm glad that Alec finally got his happiness with Magnus ❤️

I always felt that Alec was mistreated because he followed the rules. he was the obedient son, the trustworthy one and everyone got angry with him. but he proved his worth. he was always my favorite character. I love him. These scenes break my heart. a misunderstood 💔🤧🤗

The fact that Simon can figure out how Jace treats Alec in a few days of knowing them. And Jace can't even see that he is hurting Alec by choosing Clary over Alec and blaming Alec for Clary's stupidity.

The Clave were a corrupt organization, they tortured Down worlders, forced their rules of other cultures, made themselves the lawmakers and doled out the punishment. It is no wonder the downworlders rebelled. Alec called them out and began to create a more just and equal society. He made mistakes, everyone does but he always had the best intentions and worked to make things right. Magnus got screwed by the Shadowhunters more people realize. Still annoyed no one apologized for him being tortured when he was body swapped with Valentine.

I adore Alec. He and Magnus are easily the best characters in the whole-ass series. I love Simon and Izzy, but even they don't hold a candle to our Malec. Jace and Clary aren't even on the radar for me, for all that they're the "leads."

Basically everyone in the show, except Magnus (he love and break down the emotional wall Alec built around himself) don't deserve Alec and should be whipped for being nasty and cruel towards him......

Also through watching some other edits, it shows character progression to disliking Clary, to then when she is presumed dead, calling Jace out on it, showing a deep level of respect for her.
