Provided the leaf springs are still performing as expected, our airbags are designed to work with (support) the existing suspension in returning the vehicle back to ride height.

The maximum load for our airbags is up to the factory-rated GVM of the vehicle. They're designed to help reduce sag and level the vehicle so it can carry the load more safely, but airbags alone do not increase GVM.

G'day, thanks for your comment and great question! The ride is smoother overall and feels cushioned by the airbags in the rear. At the recommended height (included in the installtion instructions on our website) the airbags are essentially replacing the bump stop, they will still provide comfort and support whilst unladen. G'day and thanks for the comment. Depending on the load on your vehicle would depend on the way the vehicle rides. It's important to note that the leaf helper airbags have a recommended height rather than pressure whereas our coil helper bags have a minimum pressure. Leaf helper bags often require varying pressure from vehicle to vehicle to acheive the recommended ride height based on the vehicles load. G'day, thanks for your comment and great question! The crashplates are designed to protect the airbag from spilling over when the airbag is a full compression. G'day, thanks for your comment and great question! We recommend running the airline to each airbag individually to allow for controlled adjustment on each side of the vehicle. Often the weight of additional load may seem evenly distributed but in some cases, it isn't. That's why we recommend routing the airline seperatly and inflating the airbags individually.

@@airbagmansuspension Wouldn't you know i found the perfect thing. Seems as though the air ride suspension of the 5th gen dodge rams The front air shocks bolt up to the 3rd gen ram (the base vehicle of my build) no changes needed and the rear of my bug is %100 my own design parallel 4 link. So ill have to fab the mounts for the rears still. But the entire set of bags cost me $250. That worked out really well. Pass that information on if you find it useful.
