This game is fantastic. I feel the hate comes from that sense of "missed oppurtunity " from all the various concepts. When it comes to the world some seem to express that they don't expand on it. I think for most people (like myself ) feel the givin concepts to make an impact on the broader world, or atleast to a noteble enough extent for people to realy notice in most playthroughs. Though in my opinion if you KNOW where to look you can see these concepts get you know DYNAMIC with the rest. Even deathclaws aren't realy treated with the same respect as they were in the prior entries, and another issue most have is that the style over realism idea in practice hurts the rest of the game due to not having a balance. The previous games people tend to think of when explaining their points are usely F2 and FNV mostly because in those games, there was BALANCE, a balance of goofy weirdness with gritty reality, balance with gameplay and story and overall RPG, with finally being balance of understanding what's going on with just trying to have a good time. In reality I think F4 exemplifys all these things, in various degrees, so varying it caused an entire fanbase of houndreds of untold thousands to either love or hate this game.

Why everyone says it copies overwatch??? Clearly it's inspired by star wars battefront series...

long time dota2 player, and I really like deadlock. it feels like what dota would be, if dota was a 3ps, that said, with 10k hrs in dota, i can easily say that i'll put that much time into deadlock

For me rpg means difference of choices in the game depending on what character you built. You know, role playing. The best example I have so far is Vtm:b where devs rewrote all the dialogue lines for one single vampire class and added bit different surface mechanics on another. And in the end you can do multiple choices and all of them well-explained. You have this in New Vegas as well(well, dialogues edited for different stats but it's the same idea). I'm still missing "you critically missed and lost your weapon" from fallout 1, but still a fair job. In this sense Fallout 4 kinda treats you like a doll in the last quests when 3 factions just ask you to destroy one another like if there was no 1000 other options and expect you to just listen, which feels insulting to me as a player. I'm not touching the part that all of their motivations and reactions afterwards looks weird(except minuteman, probably), it's the "playing with factions" element I'm lacking in the game with storyline about factions. Because of this I'd call Fallout 4 an "oh shit look what in this cave" and "fuck you, you crazy robot" type of game rather than "oh shit I just made 10 plot twists myself screwing with faction relationships" type of game, which is pretty much the difference between FONV and FO4. I'm kinda mad Bethesda tried to do the second part and failed it for me that badly. Really, I enjoyed the first 300 hours of Fallout 4 survival mode, like "yes, there are some weird plot holes and unfinished parts", untill I did the last main quests and noticed how actually bad it's written and that game treats me like a doll no matter which faction I side with. I just wish I never finished the main questline, it destroyed so much charm for me.

The movement is fantastic agreed, source engine base game will always have amazing movement!! Just look at titanfall which i think have the best movement than any other game!
