"Last Resort" - Ginga Nagareboshi Gin
Here it comes, my first Ginga Nagareboshi Gin AMV.
Video's quality sucks, but we can only blame CZcams of that.
The idea of the video is that the dogs are fighting for what's right without caring about their own lives.
I DO NOT OWN THE SONG OR THE ANIME, this is purely fan-made.

"Bright Eyes" - Watership Down
zhlédnutí 3,9MPřed 18 lety
This is the first AMV I ever created. The beautiful song is perfomed by Art Garfunkel and written by Mike Batt. The video is from the movie Watership Down. I don't claim any rights to the song or the animation; they do not belong to me, this is purely a work of fan art and I'm not making any profit from it.

Childhood nostalgia brought me here. This film is my first memory of empathy and grief, at maybe age 7.

I lost my father in 99, and it has been such a long grieving, but healthy. This song lets me grieve deeply and purely for him, and with Garfunkel's sweet majestic voice, and the song written for a dying father...thank you for this video. perfect

Ok, this is what is getting into my mind right now. A series about dogs killing dogs and bears for no apparent reason. They always have their mouths open and the video quality is terrible and I have a Mac that plays videos really well. Nice choice of song though.😜

    • @taqu
      @taqu Před 9 lety

Haha. :D I know the quality is bad, but this was the first AMV I ever made and hey, this is almost 9 years old, I was only 14 back then. give me some credit. But the series really is.. about dogs killing dogs and bears, with their mouths always open, for a reason which is quite frankly ridiculous but it's still awesome. It was awesome when I was 7 and it's still amazing now that I watched it again at the age of 22. I recommend you give it a try, it's sometimes over the top but loveable. For a more serious series, check out Wolf's Rain (which I also made an AMV about!). :)

errrr... no, sorry. The tune is by Mike Batt, written and recorded specifically for the film in 1978. Art was asked to sing. It then appeared on Art's 1979 album release Fate For Breakfast (well the UK/European version).

The song is sort of the main tune from the movie Watership Down. It is a very old movie but there is actually a video of it on youtube if you searched for it. It used to scare me so much as a kid but it really is good.

That is an astute observation, but no age really prepares you for the monstrous nature of the world that birthed us. I watched this movie as a picked on child and it made me feel less like I was going insane between constant mixed messages. I always thought I was fiver. The Plague Dogs is something to watch too, Both of those movies spoke well to my subconscious, and Silence of the Lamb, but that's another story.

  • @mirandawinterbottom8149

The man who died next to me yesterday was a good man I think. My mum's best friend who died last week was a good woman. They are home. But what happens to the violent and hateful among us? The one's who want to do us harm?

  • @mirandawinterbottom8149

The reality of intentional killing in this world is a harsh one. Animals, people.. Some children wouldn't cope with the juxtaposition of cute cuddly/ brutality in the narrative. I agree with you. Not for small children. :)

this song was choosen by me for the funeral of my wonderful little daughter Robyn who left this world so abruptly on 14/10/07. 'how can a light that burns so brightly suddenly burn so pale' it touched me with a passion she was only three months and three days old SIDS is what the doctors called it. bright eyes touches me deeply each and ever time i hear that voice. great but very sad song.
