I was there an hour before it closed. I will never forget the next day, it was a Sunday, and we could not beleive what had happened.

I remember this. I was 14 and lived in Clarksville. Driving by there now I still won't stop there and get food.

Friends of mine were the first cops on scene that morning. Details they remember 30 years later are still as vivid as that day.

When you say the fastest, what does that mean exactly? I’m not trying to diminish how awesome this car was & is, but I can think of a few different cars from 1966-1969 that had the L72 427 in 425-450hp & High Torque & the L78 396 in 375-400hp besides the Camaro they were also the Yenko Chevelle & Nova w/ same engines. The 1966 Plymouth Belvedere II 426 had 425hp & 490 ft Lbs torque same Same. Last few the 1966 Biscayne 427ci 425hp, 1969 COPÓ Camaros 427ci 425 Hp, 1970 Chevelle SS LS-6 454 V8 & other cars with those motors. I’m just curious what makes this the fastest muscle car? But in It’s defense, this car IS a screamer along with many others.

There is no sister car to the one on the Titanic. Also, the Renault in the hold was not disassembled to be shipped.

It’s not unexplained flooding. It rained like you wouldn’t believe for two days prior and up to the event in the video. This could have happened any day and it happened when it did. 40 year old building, unbelievable amounts of rain. It likely found a crack and seeped through.

Last month my friend drove his 72 IH crew cab from Wisconsin to Bonneville to help me run my streamliner on the salt. Round trip was 3200 miles & he's doing it again at the end of the month for Speed Week.
