Een remake van een kit uit 1974 van Svenson Models, ontworpen door eigenaar Léon Janssens. De tekening is gedigitaliseerd en hertekend voor lasersnijden door Chris Horré uit Belgie. Daarna gelaserd door Sebastiaan van Buiten. Ik heb met de originele tekening erbij het model deels met de laser onderdelen gebouwd, en deels volgens het origineel uit 1974.
Motor is een AP .15 A Yellowjacket, 2,26 cc. Nitro.

Classy Gassie, original a free flight model from 1947 span 80 cm. Now scratch build in a span of 150cm, with electric power and 3 channel radio assist. It flies very classy, in a fast climb to high thermals and floating, or just buzzing around on the meadow behind the estate.

Hallo Winfried. Ich bin ein alter Faller fan, ok bin 62 aber das meine ich nicht. Seid ich 10 war hat mich das Faller fieber gepackt, schuld war leider mein Bruder. Es gib von Faller eine Uberhol spor/Bahn, viele meine Faller freunde habe die aber noch nie gesehen genau wie ich. Great aero modelling.. I like the behavioural manifestations in people which flow from all types of indoor flight. I have seen particularly amusing microfilm covered slo fly meets, with people running very slowly.. I mean, running, but as slow as possible.. What's THAT all about? All part of the fun.. 👍🕊️

Aus was habt ihr die Weiche gebastelt?
Hallo, wie ich schon in der Beschreibung dieses Videos geschrieben habe, handelt es sich um eine Anlage mit einem speziell angefertigten Gleisstück. Es ist aus einem AMS 4558 Set zusammengesetzt. Zwei einspurige Teile sind zusammengeklebt und in einem der Teile ist ein Schlitz für den Fahrbahnwechsel eingefräst. Dieses Teil wurde von einem Freund von mir vor 15 Jahren angefertigt. Die Bahn wird mit der originalen 16-Volt-Wechselstromanlage von AMS betrieben, und die Wagen sind mit Selenplatten ausgestattet, die zu ihrem geteilten Wechselstrom passen. Zur Steuerung der Spurwechselfunktion kann man eine originale Druckknopf-Konsole von AMS verwenden. In diesem Fall haben wir stattdessen 2 Fahrtregler verwendet. Hi, like I wrote in the description of this video, it's a layout with one special custom build trackpiece. It's composed out of a AMS 4558 set. Two single lane parts glued together and with an added lanechange slot carved in one of the parts. This part is made by a friend of mine 15 years ago. The track is powered by the original 16 v AC AMS set-up and the cars have selenium plates to match their split AC power. To control the lanechange function , you can use an original push-button console from AMS. In this case we used 2 speed controllers instead. @@WinnieNordStage I got it, I just trying with silicon rectifiers, since I don't have any Faller slot cars with selenium disc or any rectifier pick-up shoes, I have to modified my cars and it works! but I'm using a marklin power transformer, I found this online! thank you!

As Italian the Vickers 22 from Those magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines is my favourite plane and this video is a great tribute to the movie and to the plane! I really liked the addition of the sounds from the film. Best regards from Italy.

Hi Leo, I purchased an ignition system Rcexl from www.justengines.co.uk/product-category/ignition-systems/rcexl-single-ignitions/?v=796834e7a283 complete with a glow-plug size spark-plug. you need also a neodymium magnet to mount in the prop driver (in a drilled hole) The carburettor mounting bracket was modified, I made it 3mm thinner to add a 3mm ply 'gasket' for thermal insulation., otherwise the carb is getting too hot... That's all ! you need a good quality synthetic (2stroke) oil and start with a 1:10 mixture with standard 95 oct gas.(and the right fuel tubing for gas also..) Succes! Mostly older men, reliving their young enthusiasms. The fun of experimentation, of failure and success, of design and planning, of craftsmanship, etc., is fading. Aeromodelling as a hobby seems to be dying out

Jorge Picabea , they are mostly very small motors and drive a propshaft indirect with a gear. they run on a single lipo cell and are controlled by a tiny timer/controller with starting delay and a power curve to control a fine start, flight pattern and finally slow down for landing. you can find them for instance on ; samsmodels.com/
