Race 3
A different strategy of starting wide and going around the outside of everyone didn’t quite work, but it did give Harry the best start of the night.
That allowed for a whole race battle with the absolute gentleman, #64 Martin ‘Ever Young’ Corkish.
Left it late again but great riding from Harry on the night with brilliant results in front of the crowds 😎✊🏻

Race 2 on the night for the Adult b’s. With the races being a quick fire sprint, 5 mins or so, an average start off the line meant passes were needed and quickly. Left it late again and took advantage of a bit of traffic to make the pass on #64 Martin Corkish, on the last lap… again.

A bonus race! seeing as though it is TT 😎 ‘Dash for the Cash’ £250 for the winner 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 Anyone with any juice left in the tank could enter this one. Harry was on the line next to a world enduro champion, current red plate holder in the Isle of Man ACU championship and a few other fast blokes with face tattoos and beards. 🫣 Rode well in this the final race of the day, p4 🤘🏻👌🏻😎

It's always great to race in front of a crowd, especially on home soil; and especially during the two weeks of the Isle of Man TT festival. 8) This is the first of four races, and Harry's first time competing on a 2020 KTM 250sx. We originally bought this to save wear on the 125, whilst getting regular practice on a local deep sand track, but... I'd also rather not put the 125 through the salt ...

It wasn't a great start in this one, but after a decent Race 1 under his belt, Harry was feeling confident and showed some good skills in the technical parts of the lap. The power in the 250 two-smoker didn't give much away. A few good laps and kept it rubber side down until the finish, to get another great result in this race. Last race of round 2, Race 4. Better jump out of the gate but was held out wide on the first corner, still emerged form corner towards the back and had work to do. Much better first lap and managed to get up to 14th at one point in the race. Tired towards the end and lost two positions in the later laps, Finishing p16. A few seconds are needed to crack the top 10, so work to do in the meantime....

After a decent start against half the field 😉 we reset ready for the restart. Race 2 Bit of a bog off the line, meant for another bad start. Then got held up briefly in turn 2. All the bikes in the first turn were orange. Really like your soft dirt tracks. Most of the race tracks in the U.S. are hard as concrete.

looks strong and sounds good! any recommendations on making sure the bike runs as well as possible? also are you running stock ecu?
Stock ecu, we only added a HGS front and back pipe. Stick to 40:1, use a decent oil. We use Castrol XR77 or Motul 800. One essential job is to regularly dismantle and re-grease the swinging arm linkage. Got 60 hours on it now, no major issue, top end every 20 hours. 😎👍🏻

@@ShandRacing46 no i don’t have any pics but i’m 13 and ride a lot. If i did them at 20 it would cost me 100 bucks a month😂 but if it starts acting weird or losing power i always tear it down to check.

I'm no mechanic, so what does 19.5hrs mean?
19.5 hours of use from brand new. Most MX riders change the piston and bearings inside their engines, anywhere from 10 hours use to 80 hours use. Usually depending on how hard it's ridden and how many coppers are in the bank 😁

Yep, 125cc class only. We entered thinking it was a 'youth' 125, but there are adult blokes with beards and tattoos ripping around in this too 😎✊

Where did you get your parts? I have my cylinder off an no pistons available until October! Can’t find a single one online for these bikes, oem or aftermarket.

That bike sounded all wrong when there jetted correctly they sound crisp And clean did you see how much ground he lost of the start, or the choke could of been left pulled up
