Last month was the 25th anniversary of the Half-Life game. For that occasion, Valve created an hour long documentary on the creation of the game. Over the course of the documentary, the game devs were playing on a LaCie ElectronBlue IV CRT monitor that we can see a few times in the video.

For that occasion, I thought I would set up my ElectronBlue IV 22 monitor and film the iconic intro of the game, up to "the indicent" and a little bit further after it. Here is the gameplay footage.
The monitor has been set to a resolution of 1600x1200, at 100Hz. I'm playing on my good old Alienware M17x R4, with a Nvidia GTX 1070 GPU (no internal VGA RAMDAC), and using a Sunnix DPU3000 DisplayPort to VGA external adapter.
It was filmed in 4K60 with a Sony A6700 at 35mm f1.8, with the shutter speed set to 1/100, fixed ISO of 500, manual locked focus, fixed white balance.
