Painting with a palette knife can be tricky as it is very different to painting with brushes. Watch this time lapse to see how I painted a portrait using only a palette knife. Thank you for doing this in real time. I mean, the fact that you can do this in about an hour and a half is highly impressive, but it also helps so much to actively see what your doing and the techniques you use. Well done!!❤❤❤
Interesting technique, thanks for posting. Hope to see more from you.
Enjoyed this and learned from it. Will use your recommendations to paint a portrait of my own dog, Scout. Sorry to see you have not posted recently, hope you post some more, this was great. Subscribed anyway, hope it helps. Beautiful painting!
Well Ashley that is a beutiful schnauzer painting , I have a schnauzer myself I paint with oils I must give that a go cheers very inspiring
Best tutorial I have watched. Thank you so much for your detailed instructions. I can’t wait to start my own portrait 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
That dog looks mean.
Ratio of resin and hardner is 1:1 ?
I couldn’t find any clear disposable cups so I also got white. I’m so glad mine have ridges on them. It’s easier that way. This is so helpful.
I saw videos where people use face protection when working with resin. It's that necessary? What do you think? I'm new on this, sorry!!
Yes it is, this is a pretty bad tutorial
oil paint colors to use the golden doodle .??? Dark to light oil paints. Dark colors not sure when which Dark colors to mix with the light tones .?
Excellent video! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Beautiful work 💖💕
what paint thinner to get the oil paint off of the brushes to use won't destroyed the top of the oil paint brush wood sorry not explaining this well.
how much oil paint to put on the brush then apply it to the canvas .?
i am doing a stencil of a golden doodle and i don't know to make the fur on a goldendoodle look real almost . which oil paint use numbers to use and oil paint colors .
Most comprehensive tutorial on pets. Thank you.
Very pretty! Thank you for sharing😍
beautiful! thanks for sharing i am learning to do resin jewelry
Very rough and rude.
Love the toothpick trick to measure!
Красивые серьги
Wow they are gorgeous!!!! Thanks for the tips
Wow 😳 beautiful
Can you put this on a gown?? Like a cotoure type of gown?
Rubbing alcohol - even just 70% gets it off your hands or a surface you might spill some on :)
Can we use a blow dryer instead of a heat gun?
Wow we can use acrylic paint on epoxy.. Am i right??
Not really, acrylic paint will peel/scratch/rub off of the resin unless it’s sealed with resin or a spray lacquer, varnish, etc.
Lovely, great video.
Can you tell me if you think it is possible for me to get a seed into the resin? I love your vids by the way!!! Im trying to get a seed into it but it floats to the top
You should fill the mold to only half way with ur resin and add the seed then wait for it to dry a little for a couple hours and do another batch and fill it up that will prevent the seed from floating! Hope this helped
🇿🇦?
Oh girl, please wear a mask when using resin!
Okay, I have been working with epoxy resin for nine years now and this looks just extremely messy. Never seen a bigger mess in any video. Why do you like the look when it overflows??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 it just means more work. But the end result looks fine. Just wear a mask when you file the stuff if you don't want lung cancer. You have a responsibility here on youtube too, so talk about safety measures. Also...use skin friendly paint for the edges. Not everything is meant to worn and be in co tact with human skin. Paints for children's toys are usually safe. Oh and I know you wanna look pretty , putting your hair back when you work with resin is safer too.
Glad you could get that all off your chest. I must have really pissed you off
Ashley Bunting Studio ???? Don't take criticism well I see. 😀 I am just happy that I have learned about resin from really responsible people back then.
Yeah that’s really good 👏🏼
@@OrangeTabbyCat She’s just used to getting nothing but compliments and nice comments because she’s pretty. This was the worst resin video I’ve seen yet. Waaaay over filled, wasteful, no mask, acrylic paint on cured resin, which will come right off, giant plastic mixing cups that she’ll throw away after a single use, and she discards the cuttings too, rather than using them in other projects. And now that I see how rude she is to people that make good points rather than kissing up to her like every one else I see no redeeming qualities about her or her videos. Good to know before I waste time watching anything else from her studio ever again. Ugly on the inside will show up at some point and sadly she’ll be ill prepared to handle it. I’m pretty too, but the difference is I’m also kind and smart and I like learning things and being polite to others. Anyway, be well, Orange Tabby Cat. 🙂
I personally think @OrangeTabbyCat could've been kinder with their words and suggestions. They sounded like a big bully with all the laughing emoji's on top of that. I agree with their suggestions, but it came off as not nice and angry.
Beautiful 💕💕
Use medicine cups to measure accurately.
Can you use a blow-dryer instead of a heatgun???
Awesome om n SA accent te hoor :) thanks for a great video
What is that drier?
Look forward for more 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Those are gorgeous ! I' just started working with resin and I have made a few different things like earrings , coasters , just having trouble when it comes to adding objects to your resin .
Very nice video but the music was annoying towards the end
Wow this looks amazing!
Wow! Great work
When I do my pendants with the paint , it makes it really soupy (lighter consistency than normal for epoxy) 😩
Wish the heat gun could also just blow problems away 😂
I want to see your rose painting up close .🧚
Who is the lady ?
Thank you so much! A easy clear to understand video, I am wanting to start using Resin to preserve flowers. Thank you for your help!
awesome! make sure to dry out your flowers before putting them in resin. Otherwise they will lose their color
@@ashleybuntingstudio2538 Great Tip! Thank you 😀
@@GrtfulMel please use a respirator because resin is toxic and might cause lung cancer
Use smaller cups but beautiful
Hi Ashley! Just got my molds. Can’t wait to start. Thanks again for sharing.. truly appreciate it💕
That’s awesome!
Please wear a mask when working with resin....it can harm your body in long term!
hi i make earrings and i wanna start using resin and i have questions- do you need a UV light for resin to dry? What is UV resin? What is Toxic resin and How do I avoid it?Why do I need to wear gloves or wear a mask? What protective gear do I need? Please answer my questions!!!
@@maespace222 Only UV resin needs UV light or u can use sun light it works too! Regular Epoxi Resin needs time to cure depending on the brand you use the time can vary. Every Resin is toxic because they release gas as they dry/cure so you need to be careful, use mask and gloves and maybe glasses if you are a newbie with resin!
A mask is not enough, u have to use a respirator
Beautiful! But please make sure you wear a respirator. Working with resin is actually very dangerous to your health.
So many people forget this bit!!!
What type of respirator should you use? (I’m looking into starting resin making) and do you need the same respirator for UV resin?
@@rosegreen3144 nasum dust face covering with goggles attached was the one I ordered from amazon. Co. UK... They seem to be a reputable brand and decent price. I have asthma, so I guess I'm more aware of that type of stuff.
