There are 2 types of glass bottles 1 you can own and you can exchange the bottle while you buy another to save yourself a couple of pesos about 15c american, those bottles return to the bottling factory get washed and are re used for sale. The other one non returnable are recyclable they get melted to make new bottles, you can expect it to be new every time. Although in mexico they mostly end up in the yunk yard shattered and causing fires. There isnt that big of a recycle culture here.
