Nope. Nothing beats flowmaster’s hollow throaty sound. I like borla as well regardless but nothing like a big dick sounding mustang with flow’s!
Can you tell me what size tire you’re running on the back? And did you require any fender, rolling or spacers to pull it off? I have the exact same car. I just picked it up in the fall and I would like to run at 3:15 but I have heard many conflicting information about fitment issues or rubbing.
This video was 18x10 rims with a 335/30/18 BFG KDW2 tire. The tire itself ran wide and it was overkill for the rim - 295 fits “perfect” for a 10 wide, if you want some buldge then go with a 305/35 for taller sidewall or 315/30 for smaller sidewall matched to a front 265
Also, light massaging of the wheel well and fenders rolled with no spacer at that time. Depends on your rim offset if you will need a spacer or not - these wheels cleared on the inside but my next set was AFS 18” Cobra reps and they touched so I had to run a 3/8” spacer

@@kevindiaz3421 well keeping in mind this was done in a driveway back in 06-07 when nothing was available (havent looked if anything is now) so everything was custom fit. Custom mounts, etc. PATS system was the main thing but it was figured out :)

Right on, thanks man. Also found the thread on contour.org where you describe the build of this car. I have a csvt for sale right now, a guy named Jer came to look at it. Sees the black one and says 'hey, I know the guy that built that car. His name is Sean'. Then I'm on the contour site and I see 'Sean's csvt #5906 build' and I'm like '#5906, that's the sticker on my bumper! And the guys name is Sean! that's gotta be the car I just bought!' Sure enough, it was. Unbelievable. Spent all last night reading the thread. Tons of useful info and answers right there. You did a great job modding it. Car is not running right, idles way too high, and I got a crank sensor fault code. Not sure if they're related, gonna put a new sensor in this weekend. I haven't really driven it yet, so I'm not sure what I have here. Not going to plate it till spring. Winter project for now. If anything comes to mind I will for sure contact you here. Thanks again and feel free to ask me any questions. I saw you have a terminator stang, that's awesome! I have an '81 fox all modded up. No match for a Termi, tho. Anyway I'll be in touch. How raspy is the bassani off road and borla stinger together. I have upr off-road and borla touring catback now. Too raspy
overheadcam32 the off-road X causes rasp so if you want to get rid of it, you need cats
Thanks Sean k. That’s what I figured. I had a catted steeda x pipe and steeda catback since the car was new. I recently upgraded to a vmp blower and my catted pipe was getting hot on the dyno and screwing up the tuning. So in a rush they put on a upr off road pipe with my catback. It’s too raspy. I will have to retune for a catted pipe.
overheadcam32 sounds like the cats were no good then, id recommend a set of good hi flow ones and you should be good

That's not a lightning motor. Its a 5.4 F150 Harley S/C motor. You can tell by the valve covers. That thing is a 2 valve. Lightnings came with 4 valve 5.4's
Nicholas Fitzpatrick incorrect. Lightning were 5.4L SOHC aka 2V engines whereas the Mach 1 and Cobra had 4V engines. plus, i think I would know what the engine came from as we pulled it out of the truck lol
