2012 Ducane and 2021 Goodman Air Conditioners (1 Running)
This was at a different place I have never been before. That Ducane was smashed up. The coil gate was smashed up. The Goodman was running though. Oh, and also, the Goodman did not replace anything according to Google Street View.

OH MY GOLLY, A NEW RECORD OF CARRIER PERFORMANCE SERIES UNITS I HAVE FILMED. This is the one I was talking about from my favorite units. Another interesting one because it has R 4 10A instead of Puron R 4 10A.

I have a mojo that is "I film HVAC units everywhere"
I have a Carrier Round One 38EN from 1986 at my house, it just quit working this year and can no longer be serviced due to no more parts and they do not make thay style of refrigerant anymore. Because it is so old, everything has to be replaced, pipes, attic unit etc. $28k quotes from 3 companies. Went a bought 3x 12,000 BTU Midea window units until i can save up, like a couple years. The Mideas are working great!! Better than the central unit ever did in the 5 years since I bought this house, so we are surviving haha
I am going to film it running with the Carrier Performance Series also running

They should’ve called a tech out to replace the coil with a brand new 2024 one
When the camera got placed on the fan grill, it sounds just like the 2018 Lennox

But the 2018 Lennox has a three bladed fan and a Copeland scroll compressor

The coil on that Heil really should be combed out. You’ll damage the compressor from high head pressure on a hot day.

Nice video Connor, those old compressors can be a bit cranky on the first start of the year. I have an 21 year old 10 seer bryant with a bristol compressor ( R 22 }refuses to die.
I have that beat lol. A 29 year old Carrier RTU with a Copeland Scroll compressor (I think) and this is in Phoenix AZ where AC is serious because it has to keep us cool when it’s 118 degrees outside.
