CSUSM currently has 3 campus housing options and is building their 4th housing location. :)
Sir i have DEE grades in A level. Am i eligible for CSU? AS I have heard it has a high acceptance rate
đ I also wish to be San Diego Citizen/Carlsbad Citizen đșđž đ đ
First time I ever heard of Linda Vista being called Bay Park lol my dad graduated from that school
One of the best videos on San Diego I have found. Unique spots most people don't mention. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
is University of San Diego good for Psychology major?
As per CollegeFactual, "USD is in the top 10% of the country for psychology. More specifically it was ranked #89 out of 952 schools by College Factual. It is also ranked #13 in California."
Ocean Beach with the prices of houses or renting it really isn't so "eclectic" I lived in San Diego, and did go to Ocean Beach for walks, OB is nice anyway
Certainly the most eclectic beach area in SD
Thanks for this amazing content! I do have a question, though. Where did you find the 'top 20' national ranking for this school? When I searched on US News, it showed a ranking of #28. Has this changed since you posted the video?
From this website - looks like it has been updated since: www.usnews.com/best-colleges/cal-state-san-marcos-30113
When can i apply for new section to university of san diego 2024
That's something you'll want to reach out to them directly about
Yes I want to join
You should reach out to them!
hey just wanted to confim all the cal states are not community colleges right?
Correct
C/O 82, the campus was so beautiful and it's so much more now! Shout out to physical plant ! They work hard at it,awesome job! Aloha from Hawaii MK. 1 of the most beautiful on the west coast! Go torreros!
That's awesome!
Not true at least we have public transit
You're right - and it's getting better but compared to other places, it can certainly be seen as lacking
It depends on where you live or where your traveling too. If you're staying near Center City, Hillcrest, City heights , some parts of La Jolla near UCSD or near any trolley station. Public transit is fine. Outside of that you have to deal with fairly infrequent buses, multiple transfers and lots of walking on streets that were not designed well for that.
you talked about Julian but never gave the zip code
Good catch. 92036
Don't go to CSUSM, whatever you do!
May I ask why?
I'm curious to know too!
I graduated there in 95 when it wasnât nearly as well known and it turned out pretty well for me
The social life is extremely dead, mainly commuters from Temecula. The selection of professors is low, they are terrible at teaching and explaining the work. It might be better for a buisness degree but definitely not for a STEM degree. Overall poor social life, terrible gym, terrible professors, nothing is going on next to campus, very small campus, I could go on... it's not worth the money.
@@tylerkendall5177i disagree, one of the best schools. iâm sorry you had a horrible experience. peace and love
how to apply?i am in belgrade in serbia.

Homosexuals and women are also a big driving force of the cost of living in san diego
That's not a stat that I'm familiar with. Where did you get this data from?
Just moved to San Diego in bonita does that mean I I live in South Bay ?
Yup! The South Bay, also known as South County, is a region in southwestern San Diego County, California consisting of the cities and unincorporated communities of Bonita, Chula Vista, East Otay Mesa, Imperial Beach, Lincoln Acres, National City, and South San Diego

I'm not moving from San Diego, bud!
We donât blame you. We love San Diego too. What part of San Diego do you live in?
@@yourguidetolivinginsandieg9707 I live near San Diego State.
Is NU good when it comes to hiring managers
That's something you should check in with them on - I'm not that intimately familiar with that
As far as I know, there are dorms available on campus for students.
Weâll look into this. We used data from USnews.com
when i toured three years ago there was
Want to live there but gotta convince my lady
If you bring her out here one time for a vacation, sheâll never want to go home. Donât tell her but only book a one-way flight đ©ïž.
Thanks for the tips! We looking for places to eat when we take at trip San Diego. I've added some of them to my list. According to Yelp, it looks like Bo-Beau is permanently closed though. I looked further and there's still a location in Long Beach, but not near San Diego.
They did close Bo Beau and have since re-opened it as Casa Gabriela. While the food is amazing, the bus for the kids to play in was removed.
this was very useful for me, I am trying to know about the universities in san diego. but my goal in to travel there and getting an affordable learn institute is a major obstical . I am currently in germany and earning money here is brutally hard for a student. so to get a visa to study lets say in sant marcos how much am I going to need initially ? I was thinking someing like an assosiate degree in electrical and electronic engineering.
That's a great goal, and something I'd recommend you reach out directly to one of the colleges to see how much tuition will be
5 family photo spots in San Diego? Iâd love to make suggestions!
Oh yeah? Tell me more!
Here is a little trick to save a lot of $$$$. Just outside of the Temecula city limits is a community called French Valley. It is county area however, fairly new housing, and stores. The housing development followed the same standards as Temecula with many parks, and hiking paths, and such, and a big plus, the schools are the same school district which is highly rated as some of the best in the county. The crime rate is also low and because the city of Temecula contracts with the Riverside County sheriffs department, the same officers out of the same station protect both areas. Now for why you will save money, county tax rate lower overall, most areas no HOA in French Valley. Home prices noticeable less. I moved here 4 years ago, and couldn't be more happy.
That's awesome! So happy to hear that you love it there! How often do you make it over to Temecula?
I live in North SD County, and depending on the day of the week or time of day, the 5 freeway different moods. Southbound on weekend mornings or noon has traffic to Mexico and North in the afternoon can be busy. I have parallel routes to get around traffic jams. If I drive north and not in a hurry, I'll drive along the coast. I live in North County between the freeway and railroad tracks, my apartment has heaters but no air conditioners. I haven't seen frost on the car and might have a few hot 95F days in August or September. Living in a beach town you may adopt a beach dress code and blend with the tourists.
You're 100% right about the 5 having different moods, and certainly agree with you about the beach lifestyle
IT Was a nice place to live. The vacation rental business has all but wiped out any chance of home ownership. Unless you make 100k a year. Apt. rents are $ 1,200 for 450 sq.ft. 1bed to $ 2,500 for 2 bedroom. If you can find one. Homeless drug addled weirdos living on the streets is commonplace now. Trash and crime abounds. They will steal anything you leave outdoors. Good luck to anyone ready for the California dream.
OB definitely has some quirks to it.
This have become my new favorite page!!! Crush your competition with Promo`SM!!!
Thank you đ
Would be a little more accurate to compare King County to San Diego County instead of city to county.
Yes! King County population, where Seattle is located, was 2.25 million in 2021.
Fair enough. We will keep that in mind for a future video.
As a person who lives in San Diego, I find it an absolutely amazing city.
Whatâs your favorite part of living in San Diego?
Coronado!
Lazy good for nothing cops they're supposed to be getting rid of the drug dealers and the rest of the Riff Raff that comes with it
Rain and clouds are in the eye of the beholder. Its not a defect. The whole state of California is basically a desert which means hard water, dry weather and extreme taxes. Do you wanna look 50 when you are just 30. There is a reason Washington is ranked the best state in the country.
The big pluses of Western Washington's rain is the natural beauty all around. It is green, lush and colorful, compared with burned, dry brown. The air quality is in the "Good" range for most of the year and there is a clean feel, due to the rain. Plus, there is no drought or worry about where will water be found.
San Diego and it's weather definitely aren't for everyone. We definitely hear that some of our clients who move here from other areas miss the four seasons. Then you have the San Diegans who love that we can snowboard in the morning in Big Bear, then come home for an afternoon surf session, and finish it off with an exotic dinner across the border in Mexico.
Do you have any opinions on why rent is more expensive in San Diego than Seattle if the cost of living is so similar? Is it because homes appreciate a little faster in San Diego?
I think itâs because of the number of transplants we have in San Diego. When people move here, they often start out renting to get the Kay if the land before they buy. I donât think Seattle has nearly as many transplants. Does that make sense?
This was where I grew up ! Will forever love San Diego !!
Whatâs your favorite thing to do or favorite restaurant to eat at in Oceanside?
I grew up in San Diego downtown area ! Loved it definitely going back soon ! đ„
Whereâd you move to?
Public transport sucks in the entire country
No disagreement thereâŠespecially for someone coming from a city like New York where itâs the only way to get around.
Little more!!!!????? You guys can HAVE California it's gone to total shit anyway lmao keep your crumbling state everyone that made California California have already left đ€Ł
Compared to states like Hawaii, NJ, NY, Oregon, itâs not a whole lot more. While states like Texas have no income tax, their property taxes are insane compared to ours. Their weather is also a shell shock for those that move there. You canât beat San Diegoâs weather.
Sunshine tax is a real estate scam. Lived my whole life in San Diego, and now I'm retired. There never was this so-called "sunshine tax" here. It's mega Wall Street real estate corporation greed - especially Blackstone- that forced many San Diegans, native San Diegans, out of their homes. Leaving their families and friends and everything familiar, increasing the homelessness in San Diego by making residents' homes unaffordable while luring wealthy people from out of state. Yes, I'm angry. I've heard all the excuses that Blackstone hides behind to pretend that they are not responsible. Those excuses are made of straw. Blackstone is not only responsible for the housing crisis, but Blackstone is also responsible for destroying America by causing deeper divides between corporate greed and reality.
How about seattle vs san diego

You did not scare me. You actually bought me.
Are you in San Diego already or are you considering moving here?
Wow this was a super informative video! I have been afraid to buy in this market in fear that I am going to overpay for a home and lose equity on it in the future, but the way you broke down the market and compared the inventory to historical inventory in SD makes me a lot mire confident to buy. Thanks for the great video!

I was in the Navy and work at Qualcomm⊠the ordering of this list is very, very wrong đ
We blame it on Indeed who put the list together đ€Ł
So which state is more easy to get on your feet
San Diego has the lower cost of living between the two. Iâm sure that it either location, youâll be able to find something thatâll be right for you. The biggest difference between these two locations is the weather. If you donât like rain, San Diego is ready for you.
@@yourguidetolivinginsandieg9707 How do you figure? I've looked pretty extensively into living near Seattle vs. living in San Diego and I haven't found anything indicating San Diego costs less, even when considering surrounding areas outside the city limits of both. I'm looking at renting houses specifically for now and there's a significant difference in what's available within ~20 miles of both cities
