I never thought of adding the directors account who do usually spend money for the buisness and I add the receipts and say it comes out of there accounts but don’t have there actual bank accounts in to quick books to make match’s of there receipts with there bank. This is what I’ve gathered from this video as it comes out of the business but it’s come from a directors bank account account. Thank you

Great video again. It's interesting where they are taking this. I agree it needs work and should at least have the same functionality as self-employed. Also, I hope they don't shoot themselves in the foot by forcing a software change to like they seem to be doing across the pond.

But if you paying yourself dividends, that is paying you some of the profit from the company, then surely you would have your pay tax on that? 🤔

Can you mark an income as a non taxable income on QBSE? For example, gift money from family.

What do you do if something is purchased in cash with no receipt? Can you still record that as an expense?

Great video, I have a question I set up my company last year year April and the company had not made any money at the time Ive only been able to take small amount of money from the company through my directors loan account via expenses im owed. You mentioned you can run directors salary to be paid to your directors loan account, would I be able to back date that monthly slurry to run against my directors loan account and then when I get some money come into the business from work I due to be paid for shortly I can then draw down some funds from my business against my directors loan account? Hope that made sense lol

ebay control account - why does eBay make it so complicated?

Excellent video and this has helped me massively with my Monzo Pots, up until this month when our pots were changed slightly, now each pot is receiving interest and I am unsure how to account for this. When i go to do my reconciliation it is out by exactly the amount of interest received between our 3 pots. The bank doesn't feed these interest received transactions into Quickbooks automatically as they go direct to the pots rather than the main account and so I am unsure on the correct way to deal with them.

How transfer data from USA desktop vrsion to UK version

When I link Etsy, it only shows ever shows each sale transaction not the 8 fee transactions that happen alongside each sale 😤🤯 if anyone knows a way to fix this I’d really appreciate it!! 🙏

Hello, I have another question in regards to VAT. Say if I have spend £30 for items purchased as COGS, then I partially return a good for £10 and this £10 in back to my account. How do I categorise this income of £10 as VAT please, will it be sales with 20% vat ? Or COGS purchase 20% vat please thank you
